The room was big, with a big balcony Nice view over the valley and mountains around Great breakfast Heiligenblut am Großglockner is a really nice small village and great for skiing
Internet connection is very limited as expected for the (remote) location
The room is better than expected, very nice!
No soap in the bathroom No internet
The owners were really friendly. This is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The views from the balcony were amazing.
It's excellent value for money. It's quiet, about three km outside of town. Very clean.
It's a fair hike to town, all uphill. The people who run it don't speak any English. Breakfast is basic, rooms are nice but basic.
The owner was very pollite. Very good service at breakfast. The breakfast room was very cosy. The breakfast was sufficient, served to table. We had a very nice conversation with other guests at breakfast. The situation was good at a river bank not far from the village, by car max. 5 minutes.
Everything was just as expected and we were quite satisfied.
Very nice hosts, Very quiet and beautiful surroundings.
Mr. Christoph's English is a little broken but much better than my German. He and his wife were very gracious. Daughter-in-law Maria is a very sweet lady who has pretty good English. We enjoyed our stay and wished we had planned to stay longer. In short the Christoph house is great but nothing will compare to the drive through the mountains. I have skied mountains all over the US but these mountains have a different kind of beauty. I would go back to Heiligenblut just for the drive.
Quiet, scenic location, spotlessly clean, very pleasant staff, pet-friendly. I was travelling with two dogs for a competition and it was a great place to stay with them. No extra charge, nice area for walking right outside, and I could even take them out directly from my room without having to walk through the common areas. Didn't see any wolves (as mentioned by one reviewer) but if I had that would have been another plus. :)
Wi-fi was a little unreliable, but anyway who wants to waste time on the internet when you can be doing things outdoors?
Loved walking the country road from the pension to town. Beautiful part of the world.
Nothing. Liked it all.
The hotel is good, staff are nice, overall it's really worth the money.
The only thing I want to warn the people is : don't go out in mid night , it's dangerous. I was there on May 30, around 0:15, I went out 400 meters away from the hotel , all the way along the road to the wooden bridge , to take photo of stars . I was hunted by at least 4-5 wolves. They stop hunting me , maybe because one of the wolf try to overtake me hit the fence, and hurt himself.( his fur is still on the fence in the second morning, I tooled the photo , and I collected some sample of the fur to proof it's real). Anyway, it's a good hotel, and if u don't go out in mid night alone, it will be fine.
Stuff was very friendly. They took care about us during the whole our staying. Every morning we got delicious breakfast. Accomodation was very nice and clean.
