Quiet, small hotel. nicely furnished with good wifi and TV, wellness area and sauna exists (but I did not visit it). Good breakfast offers a variety of food.
A ketlle and tea/cofee service in the room would be a great improvement.
Breakfast is rich&delicious
WiFi connection no reception after 10 pm
This is a great place on the edge of Vienna. Easy mass-transit connections will get you to town via bus and tram. The facility is and rooms are elegant, clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast offerings are first rate. The hotel is surrounded by various local restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend lodging here as it offers Vienna accessability without the downtown price.
Parking can be a minor challenge. A bit of luck and patience will eventiually score a spot on the street in front of the hotel, but don't expect a spot waiting for you on arrival. A very minor inconvenience.
The hotel was very well presented, clean & comfortable. Staff were very friendly, approachable & helpful. We were overall very pleased with our choice of hotel & it enhanced our experience of Vienna.
Bath was extremely small & the ability to hear other guests in adjoining rooms
If you no have a car. You ruse 2 hour everyday.
I have stayed at Landaus Fuhrgassl-Huber every time I have traveled to vienna. This was my 8th trip there and I absolutely love this hotel and it's quant location in NeuStift am walde. The hotel has a family atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly and nice. Rooms are clean, spacious and cozy. Breakfast is excellent. You are surrounded by beautiful vineyards, fresh air and beautiful scenery you can enjoy by walking, hiking or running. Getting to the city is easy and takes only about 30minutes by bus 35A and ubahn. You are also right in the heart of traditional Viennese heurigens that offer the best food and wine in town for an unbeatable value. And the best yet: this is not a touristy area and you are right among locals which I personally love. I highly recommended Landhaus Fuhrgassl-Huber.
The only issue I have had is with the wifi connection being a bit unpredictable depending on your room location....
Location at the border of Vienna close to the vineyards. We had a quiet room at the back side of the hotel with view on its nice garden.
Hotel rooms are a bit noisy.
Nice rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff
Not very soundproof, no ac, it can get hot so all windows to courtyard are opening. Then you can hear all other rooms.
Really enjoyed our stay. Location was good if you have a car. Very relaxing setting with the court yard for cocktail hour and breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of chooses. On site parking and good wi-fi connect in the room just added to the experience. Restaurants within walking distance.
breakfast in the courtyard is superb. Location is beautiful, amidst the vineyards.
The location is beautiful, but the center of Vienna is a bit far and not easy to reach with public transport.
The breakfast buffet wasn't bad. The staff wasn't UNhelpful, but they certainly didn't go out of their way for us. We picked this hotel because we wanted to stay on the outskirts of Vienna and then take public transport into the city. That worked, although it was a 30 minute ride into the center.
The Wi-Fi did not work most of the time. It worked fine in the lobby, but not in the room. When we asked about it at the front desk, we got nowhere. (I think we might've been one of perhaps 3 other guests in the hotel at the time, so maybe no one else was trying to get online.) Everything in the place seemed dated, although clean. English was difficult, with the exception of one staff person. Parking was not easy. We parked on the street (which is very busy) although we found out later that there is a garage under the hotel. We had to ask about that.
Everything is excellent. Fresh air. Vienna forest is next to hotel, nice hiking. Breakfast in good weather inside the yard is very pleasant. Fresh fruits
The presentation, cleanliness decor and breakfast were all lovely. We were welcomed to a free breakfast as our plane landed at 5am, far too early for checkin . we were given a beautiful room with separate lounge/ living room.
A little far from the centre of vienna if you dont have a car, However, the public transport is excellent and very regular. The hotel forgot to send a prearranged taxi transfer which was a bit of a pain after a 19 hour flight.
Breakfast is just crazy - I've never seen such a wide choice at breakfast, there are even fresh strawberries!
The quietness, high standard of presentation, traditional at its best, magnificent breakfasts. An idyllic retreat from the bustle of Vienna.
A swimming pool would be nice - but not necessary.
Beautiful, cozy and quiet hotel set it picturesque Vienna outskirts not far from Vienna Woods. Hotel provides excellent delicious breakfast with plenty of choices. Staff is delicate and welcoming. Interior in traditional Austrian style with plenty of flowers everywhere is very charming. All in all this place feels like at home and the only thing that upsets you - that some day you have to leave.
Just a minor thing really - floor in the room is not vacuumed during everyday cleaning, so any hair/fibers accidentally dropped on the floor will stay with you till the end of your stay :) Otherwise the whole place is very clean. Also it would be nice to have some covers on the beds to be able to use them during the daytime.
Staff is wonderful. Breakfast is good, but chaotic.
If you are staying at this place, remember it takes an hour to the center of town each way. We regretted losing 2 hours a day on getting to city center. Everything in Vienna is at the city center (all tourist spots). So, its a bummer. Rooms are very bare and plain. Not much character. Recommend getting even numbered rooms for the view of the vineyard. We got 207 and NO VIEW!!
ATM machine 4 bus stops away. Make sure to take a fixed price cab from airport, should cost 30-40 Euro.
The sign said when you put towels on the floor they change them... apparently not - the ones on the floor were just hang up again. the ones not on the floor stayed wherever but they put more and more each day.
Super nice hotel with very helpful stuff. Great breakfast.
WiFi connection on very poor level.
fantastic breakfast, very helpful staff
no pool to refresh after sauna
Perfect breakfast - hotel offers everything what you can imagine to get for breakfast - sweet, meat, homemade bread, juices, fruits, cheese,...
Poor wifi in the room
Fantastic breakfast. Wonderful and unique interior design. Outside the city, village like. Beautiful garden. Friendly staff
No curtain in the shower
