The newly furnished dining room lets you enjoy breakfast and dinner in a pleasant atmosphere. The morning begins with a rich Austrian breakfast buffet (muesli and yoghurt, freshly baked rolls, cheese and cold meat, and a selection of Pickwick teas and ground coffee). In the evening we serve a 3-course menu utilizing locally sourced organic products. We offer creative Austrian and international Cuisine.
We serve specially selected wines and Austrian draft beer from our bar and a wide selection of digestifs. In the evening, our cosy bar invites to enjoy a game of pool or just to relax. The sun terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Grimming mountain.
Choose between our comfortable en suite double rooms or family rooms consisting of two separate adjoining bedrooms for parents and children. All rooms have en-suite showers/toilets and lovely views of the surrounding mountains, with two of our rooms having their own balcony overlooking the spectacularly majestic Grimming mountain situated in our valley.
Landhaus Tauplitz is ideally situated for all winter sports. The 4-person lift is a 3-minute walk away from our hotel and quickly whisks you up to the Tauplitzalm from 900 to 1,500 metres above sea level. Tauplitz is one of the oldest traditional skiing areas which is not overrun by large groups of tourists. The skiing area offers unique and interesting ski runs with a variety of different levels of difficulty. Tauplitz is in a snow-sure area, guaranteeing snow in the winter season. The 19 ski lifts cover 40 km of ski slopes suitable for everybody, from beginners to experienced skiers. Cross-country ski runs can be found in the village and throughout the area.
Tauplitz is situated in Austria’s lake district, where the provinces of Styria, Salzburg and Upper Austria meet, and is within easy reach of the Salzkammergut and Ausseerland lakes. There are 76 crystal clear lakes in the vicinity, 6 of which can be found on the highest plateau in Europe - the Tauplitzalm. Summer in the region offers long, warm days, beautiful wildflowers, green pastures with the tinkling sound of cowbells, evergreen forests and a breathtaking mountain landscape.
Tauplitz offers a perfect setting for hiking and cycling tours, adventure sports and golf, offering scenic courses nestling in the majestic Alpine landscape.

-at der var rent og pænt, -at hotellet ligger i rolige omgivelser, - at der var balkon til værelset så den smukke udsigt kunne nydes herfra
-at værelset forsynes med et bord, hvor man som gæst kan sidde og skrive, - at man som gæst føler sig knap så tilrettevist mht ordensregler
