Martha Hotel is ideal for skiers. You can end your ski day exactly at the back entrance of the hotel...putting your skis in a special closet and boots on a warm hanger to dry for next day. Breakfast was good, but the warm food (scrambled eggs and bacon everyday) could have some kind of variety. During the day there is no one in the hotel to attend to their customers. The room was small for a 4 star hotel (maybe 8 sq.M.) but we loved the balcony! The spa was very nice, but the jacuzzi should have been included and not charged 9 euros. The general decoration of the hotel was soooo cute, I loved it! Generally we had a great time, nothing that would ruin our vacation.

-Room too small -Jacuzzi charged 9 euros for 20 minutes - Some variety for the warm breakfast buffet (not only scrambled eggs and bacon) - No service during the day at all - There was no handle inside the closet for the skis and I was locked inside for an hour until I was rescued from a client that heard me screaming!!!

Perfect place. You should go on ski straight from piste to hotel. Excellent staff and wellness. We were very satisfied. Thx

Very friendly, good position of ski bus station, near the Smittenhosse express bahn. Good walk down to Zell am see centre.

Problem was to go to dinner to different hotel and check-in in other hotel.

Nice surrounding and good view. comfortable rooms and friendly staff After ski in the afternoon there is small dinner. I tried once some super delicious pasta.

They don't speak much english while I don't speak german at all. Only wifi in the lobby and dinning room. Free but poor signal.

Hotel was so cosy and so special, great position, pleasant rooms, details in the hotel and out of it made it very warm stay.

At our arrival (18:30) there was noone at the reception, but there was telefon number for urgency.

We arrived at the Hotel Martha but it was completely closed, a note on the door saying we were staying up the road at another hotel, up the road was in fact close to the Cable Car station, this hotel was open but we did not see another person either staying or working there, but on the reception desk was an envelope with our name and a key, we wandered around and eventually found our room which I have to say was warm and cozy, we changed and went down to dinner after two hours, but no the dinning room was closed, no one around, so we had to drive down into the valley in order to eat. This hotel is a disgrace, we felt more like we were in a Hostel, no apologies, no staff, no food.

it is a little too far from the city center so you need a car to get there but otherwise it is higly recomandable

The highlight of the stay was the "summer card" that allows free use of the cable cars, boat and other facilities in the area. Breakfast is very good.

It seems like the Austrian and German hotels supply only these extremely soft pillows - big pain in the neck! So take your own pillow or pain tablets. This place is best suited for people with own transport; I don't know how we would have gotten on without the rental.

Arrived - no reception! Had to report to sister hotel. Returned with key - room not serviced - bed unmade and plenty rubbish. Returned to sister hotel. Complained. Owner agreed to accommodate us at sister hotel (Schmittenhof). From what we saw of Martha, appeared more like a 2 star and would not have liked to stay there. Schmittenhof was great - worthy of its 4 stars.

Landhotel Martha- sign on door advised hotel to use was 300m up road at smittenhof. The smittenhof was fantastic, room was very clean, modern & cosy. Highly recommended. Staff welcoming.

Die Zimmer sind sehr erholsam, die Bedienung sehr nett.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen, das Personal wahr sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und ordentlich, wie auf den Fotos abgebildet.

War ein nettes Wochenende, vielen Dank dafür, und vor allem für die netten Tips, die in keinem Reiseführer stehen...

Ett fint hotell med bra frukost och fint rum. Det fanns dryck att ta under dagarna som betalades vid utcheckning. Fint läge med härlig utsikt mot bergstopparna!

Ingen städning av golven under de fyra dagar vi var där.

Sauna, Aussattung war gut. Romatische Einrichtung top.

Sauberkeit nicht 100% Stockflecke im Bad uns Zimmer (im Rahmen aber für den Preis unnötig) Sauna selbst hatte schlechten Zustand und schlechtes Licht. Abendmenü nicht ansprechend und zu kurze Öffnungszeiten für nach Angabe Hotelier "vollem Haus" Der Frühstückskaffee war leider gar nicht österreichisch!

sauber, gute Ausstattung mit Whirlpool, Sauna, Dampfbad.., jedes Zimmer mit Balkon, reichhaltiges Frühstück

keine Besetzung an Rezeption, Fragen und Wünsche müssen in einem anderen Hotel abgeklärt werden, kein Einchecken im Hotel möglich (auch nur im benachbarten Hotel ca. 300 m entfernt) Zimmer waren bei Ankunft nur mäßig beheizt

Herzlichen Dank Martha, Deine Waldwerkstatt ist einfach toll ! Ruhe und Entspannung pur ! Entschleunigen trifft den Nagel auf den Kopf ! Das classic Zimmer Nr. 7 ist verzückend, Maria´s Frühstück der richtige Start in den Morgen !

Das Frühstücksbuffet Das liebliche Zimmer In der Dusche befindet sich ein Mischventil, damit Heiß/Kalt temperiert herunter läuft - das dürfte vor kurzem eingebaut worden sein, wenn wir die älteren Bewertungen lesen. Dieter der gute Geist des Hauses hat uns sehr gut betreut und die Gegend erklärt.
