Austria Trend Hotel Lassalle  

Great hotel at a very reasonable price, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful (and I don't write that about every hotel). A big and clean room with a bathtub!

Lack of facilities, the overall design of the hotel isn't that great

This hotel is well located near metro and two stops from city center an main touristic area and also very close to the Prater. The rooms are very nice and offer all u would like in a room. Will go again as soon as I'm back in Vienna.

The staff were very helpful and informative. It is an ideal location for sightseeing with the underground very close. Rooms spacious and clean overall good value for money.

We asked for additional pillows and they were delivered to the room within minutes

It would be good if they could change money at the reception

Convinient location (5-7 min by metro to the city centre - 1.80 euros for a single trip) or 10-20 euros by taxi (depending on traffic). Close distance to the railway station (about 15-20 min on foot), large room, clean towels and sheets, clean room. Safe in the room. Free Wi-Fi. Pleasant and helpful staff. We arrived early and they gave us a room one hour before the check-in time. Good breakfast. Other (and cheaper) meal options are: several places at the railway station, buying food at supermarkets, either @ Spar International (3-min walk) or Billa (much better selection) at the railway station).

Our room (on the side of the building facing the road) was sometimes noisy at night, esp. with open windows. Try to get a room on the other side of the building. The pillows were a bit smallish. Looks like there's no AC (though there was a fan in a closet). This could be a problem, esp. during very hot summer. I'd recommend checking other people's reviews as we stayed at the hotel in early April and can't say what it's like in summer.

The most fascinating for me was the personality of the hotel, especially I was impressed, that you gave an opportunity also someone with ds to work at you. I must say, that he did an excellent job and to me a good feeling to stay in such hotel. Ther attitude of the hotel to the social responsibility is for me the main reason to choose that hotel for all my future visits of Vienna. However, I have to say, that all the personality is great. My little daughter will for sure remember them ;). All the best.

The hotel was located very good. We reached everywhere so easily. I recommend everyone if they want to come Austria to reach city center so easily and travel around.

The breakfast was very good but not economic.

Very affordable prices. Great value for money. Spacious clean room and bathroom. Clean and soft towels and bed lining. Close to metro station, 3 minutes walking, just 4 stops from very centre of Vienna. Variety of tasty food for buffet breakfast. Nice hotel, well maintained although it's not newest. If I would go again to Vienna I would have definitely chosen this hotel.

Breakfast was very good but too expensive, 15 Euro daily per person. Only in the hotel I couldn't join in hotel's wireless internet network even it existed, but there was pc with internet and printer in the lobby on the first floor.

The room was reasonably spacious and clean. Although I had asked for a smoking room I preferred to stay in a non-smoking one due to the horrible stink of the smoking rooms. Lassalle is a big hotel with many rooms and many guests but the staff manage to answer to your needs and make you satisfied. The Internet was free and you can get connected by WiFi and or by an Ethernet cable which you can get from the reception desk for a refundable deposit of 10Eur. It is pretty fast and I myself enjoyed 7mbps of speed during my stay. But I couldn't get my iPhone to connect to the WiFi.

The location of the hotel is really bad. It is on the second district of Vienna which is not too close to the city center and is very quite and there are not many shops and restaurants around. Specially after midnight unlike other districts like 15th where you can get food even after midnight from the kebap and sausage parlors/kiosks. The nearest metro station is about 5 minutes walking away from the hotel. So all in all if you are not into quite places and local neighborhoods I wouldn't recommend you stay here.

This was my second time in hotel Lassalle & I will most certainly stay there again.
