Score from 56 reviews Wonderful
Excellent value for money, good food, lovely friendly staff and clean rooms with very comfortable beds. A short walk to the slopes and heated ski lockers
All staff were very firthcoming and nice and ready to help with any issue.
The pool in the sauna.
The positioning, the staff, the food, the rooms were clean and spatious. Basicaly everything was nice except the wifi connection, which was sometimes poor. All in all, it was a really good experience and I strongly recommend it.
Internet connection lost at times
Easy access to ski slopes Free wi-fi, strong signal Ski room (but it's an austrian standard anyway)
Small room with old tv Small hotel bar Very small dinner meals (not suitable for skiers) Confusing breakfast arragement
The location is in the center. Very friendly staff. Nice room with fine mountain-view and balcony. Strong, fast (and free) WiFi in the room.
its a bit far from the skilifts.(to walk). Strange key-technology: When you leave at evening/night you need to change your roomkey to another key that unlocks the main door.
Excellent nice staff, really extraordinary high value for money.
Just returned from a week's half-board at this excellent hotel, in a lovely, spacious, well-equipped room with mountain views. Staff friendly and helpful, especially the wonderful Marco who treated us like royalty and didn't bat an eyelid when our boys aged 8 and 9 got loud and boisterous. Ski hire shop 10 metres away, and nearest piste about 3 mins walk downhill, then an easy ski down to Schischule Koch (would recommend) and main lifts. Town centre with shops and restaurants also easily walkable in opposite direction. Decent games room with table tennis, darts, and two other arcade games. Didn't use spa area but other guests said it was good. Great, spacious ski locker room with heated boot racks. Meals were great - even my partner who has very high standards said he'd rate it 9/10. Extensive buffet at breakfast (hot and cold) - everything you could possibly want inc decaf coffee and fruit teas. Afternoon tea/coffee/hot choc and cake was great. Plenty of choice for evening meal - you order in the morning and usually have a choice of three mains inc a veggie option and/or fish. Lots of bread, decent salad buffet and two choices of soup each night to help yourself to - so even my mega-fussy son didn't go hungry. A starter and dessert also provided. We usually skipped lunch as so full from hotel meals! There was plenty of snow (we stayed 5th-12th April) although it was very mushy - until heavy snowfall at the end of day 2 which improved snow conditions. Plenty of runs for all abilities - we didn't cover the whole mountain - and no problems with overcrowded pistes/ lifts. Plenty of lovely piste bars/restaurants playing good music! The week flew by and none of us wanted to come home!
Am struggling to think of any negatives, can't fault the hotel. Resort/hotel/ski school predominantly non-English (some menus not translated in piste cafés) but everyone speaks English so not a problem for us. Could do with a pulley system near main lift area as long flat area between lifts meant a lot of walking (no fun for smaller children). Overall - great holiday!
the perfect hotel for a ski holiday
Friendly staff, great location, well organized. I recommend this hotel.
I would have liked a humidifier for my room. Other than this, the factuality is well balanced on quality, location and price.
The arrangement of pillows and bed done by the maid each day :) Nice food.
Really nothing to complain about ...
location - central and short walk to ski
The hotel is a very comfortable and well located accommodation. Staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a very enjoyable stay and skiing excellent.
Cuisine overall is not as good as at home but there was lots of fruit, salads and alternative choices so no chance of going hungry
excellent food, nice rooms, friendly personel
always too hot inside
Big Breakfast buffet with fresch fruits and frontcooking. Nice dinner always with soup, salat mail course and desert. Heatet singele ski sorage for every room. Easy acces to the slopes
The staff, the food and the location. The hotel was very clean as well.
Only minor points - there was no bedroom light or lamp near the wardrobe so it was impossible to see anything in there after dark. The bar area was very small and maybe it would be possible to convert the 'playroom' which did not seem to have any use.
Hotel was lovely and staff couldnt do more for you. Location is pretty good with walking distance to town and other apres bars.
It isn't quite ski in and ski out but nevertheless is not far to go. The meals are extensive but not great for vegetarians also they try a bit too hard and the food would be better being authentic Austrian food.
