- The staff were always super nice and very helping, all of them. The receptionist, the cleaning lady and Antonio, the maintenance man. The Russian manager is far less competent than any of her staff members. - The children room: they have a great children's room with many toys, our son loved it. - The pool: modern and good size for the size of the hotel. The temperature was a bit cold though. - Hardwood floors: they are wide and thick, with a great feel.
I have spent 5 nights at Laurus with my wife and our 2 year old son. Let's just say we've had the worst (and most expensive) holidays. Check in: to enter the hotel there is an automatic door which opens with the room key. The problem is that before checking in, you don't have a room key, so somebody has to open the door. We weren't that lucky. There is a telephone number you can call. We called but nobody answered. We had to wait a long while outside with our 2 year old son until the receptionist showed up. Double rooms: I initially booked a Double Room with kitchen at 345€. The room is really small. The room has 20 meters but the kitchen gets an important part of that surface. We needed a crib for our son but there is not enough space to fit it, so they had to remove the small table that was in the kitchen. But what was even worse was the height of the ceilings, very low, 2 meters at most, which makes the room look even smaller. I like to enjoy my hotel room when I am vacation, this room is more a punishment than a enjoyment. The apartment: We decided to upgrade to the apartment at a whopping 490€ per night. Crazy price but we had no choice. The manager made us clear during our stay that we had a great price, since the list price was 700€ (!!!). With these prices you expect the very best, the rooms and services at a 5 star level, and what you get here it's more like a cheap bed and breakfast. The apartment it's supposed to be for 4 adults: 2 sleep in a double bed, 2 sleep in a bunk sofa bed (!!) in the living room, if you have children they sleep in the floor because another bed does not fit. The living room has the kitchen, a dining table for 4 and the bunk sofa bed. It's all very functional and very new since the hotel is only 1 year old. It has 2 tiny bathrooms, but no bathtub in either of them. For us it was a disappointment since we bath our son everyday and he loves it.
Exceptional staff -- very friendly and helpful. Comfortable apartment with two bathrooms. Nice spa with outdoor Jacuzzi. Good internet speed. Close to chair lift.
Third bed was a bit small for young adult. Breakfast choices were plentiful, but didn't change in four days. Found a similar sized apartment in Lech for half the price.
Great rooms, ski storage, staff and good location (right next to a lift).
Water temperature of pool wasn't exactly warm.
Well designed hotel. All mod cons. Helpful staff- Nina was lovely. Yummy breakfast.
Rooms were rather small.
all new, therefore fresh and clean. family apartment room practical, good space, equipment. friendly staff trying hard to make thinks work despite total understaffing. Efficient and modern overall. Liked the individual and heated ski-shoe storing closets. Ski depository is not working at all.
Feels like a ghost hotel staffed by only a handful of totally overloaded friendly staff. No lobby or common seating area whatsoever. Reception is a hole in the wall. You have your room, a modest breakfast and otherwise you rely on your key card to find your way through a service-free 4 star Hotel.
the staff were really friendly and helpful, always with a big smile and we really appreciated them
we paid a very high amount of money, 690 euros/night and the level of room and facilities were not at a high enough standard for this price. the 4 person room had only one bedroom and a sofa bed in living room. for this price, i would expect at least 2 rooms with complete beds. the sauna and wellness area is only accessible from 3pm onwards, for this price should be available all day. the jacuzzi also wasn't working. there was also a discrepancy in overview on internet and reality. on internet it stated there is a shuttle service to/from airport and there was not. it also said in centre town, but it is 1 km almost farther.
Very nice rooms with plenty of space. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to skiroom and spa/swimmingpool. Very good after a long day of skiing.
Very good location, nice stuff, clean and brand new hotel, especially sauna+pool
The room is too small, especially the bathroom is only 1 m2
Good location, friendly staff, great breakfast! Very clean with superb wellness facilities.
Our room didn't have a balcony but only 4 berth rooms have them, apparently.
Brand new hotel with spacious rooms in a great location close to the lift.
Reception / hotel not occupied over night.
Very helpful and attentive staff. Modern new facilities. Pool, steam room, sauna, ski lockers. Very close ski in/ski out to lift.
