The hotel was fab. But as for Lech itself, if you want to stay in a town or resort which is buzzing, don't come in May/June as most things are shut then. This didn't bother us, but some people might prefer more activity & options.
The hotel is in a great location for ski-ing, walking etc as it's close to tows and walking paths. But it is on a main street, so if you're a light sleeper, consider asking for a room at the back. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and made sure we knew about the walking routes in the area. When we asked whether we could be switched to a room at the back, they sorted this immediately & graciously (it was really low season, there were lots of spare rooms ...) The hotel decor is traditional Austrian, cosy and incredibly clean - and someone here really knows how to care for houseplants.
