Anonymous Mature couple Germany August 2, 2011	Nette Inhaberin, sehr schöner Cafe-Garten und Innenhof zu den Zimmern und Appartements. Es wird auf Wünsche eingegangen und versucht diese auch zu erfüllen. Doppelzimmer sehr klein und sehr schmales Bett. Um 4,20€ p.P. gibt es mehr als nur 1 Butter, 1 Marmelade, 2 Brötchen und dazu Milchkaffe !! Das hat mich und meine Frau am meisten gestört. Frühstücksbuffet ist heute normal. Ronald Solo traveler Amsterdam, Netherlands July 15, 2011	De kamer met douche-/WC-ruimte is klein en eenvoudig maar, niet onbe-langrijk, schoon. Het hotelletje is gelegen in een blok met oude pandjes die vanaf de - wel zeer kleine - binnenplaats een gezellig rommelige indruk maken. Als het weer het toeliet, heb ik aan het tafeltje uitgerust/ nagenoten en vooral ook gelezen (waaronder een fraai boekwerk over Burgenland, door de eigenares in mijn kamer klaargelegd). In het aangrenzende pand is Gasthof Löwenhof gevestigd, waar je indien gewenst kunt ontbijten bij haar vader en broer (familie met twee aparte bedrijven) en overdag of 's avonds wat kunt drinken en eten. Donnerskirchen is best een aardig plaatsje en heeft o.a. een sportpark met zwembad, waar je ook wat kunt lunchen/dineren en fietsen kunt huren, mini-golven enz. Tip: Haydn-matinees in Eisenstadt v.a. half juli. Voor mensen zonder eigen vervoer (zoals ik) is men erg afhankelijk van het openbaar vervoer, dat in dorpen als Donnerskirchen, en op het Oostenrijkse platteland in het algemeen, overdag zeer onregelmatig rijdt en 's avonds en in het weekend niet of nauwelijks. Ik was dit keer maar kort in Burgenland, maar het zou b.v. lastig zijn om 's avonds naar Eisenstadt te gaan (b.v. voor een concert van Haydn in het Esterhazy-paleis) en met het openbaar vervoer weer terug te komen.
