Security was excellent - no worries about intruders etc. The apartment was spacious (we booked a four person apartment but only two of us intended to use it) Whole area was clean and tidy. Plenty of supermarkets for provisions close at hand. Station 10 minutes walk away. Bathroom was large and clean. Friendly and co-operative staff. Free laundry/drying facilities.
Provision of kitchen utensils for four would have been inadequate - "just" enough for two of us although we wonder why there were three saucepan lids and only two saucepans!. Our policy, as guests, is to replace anything we break (which we did) but suspect some previous people did not think the same way. (eg. Two wine glasses for four people?)
Location - close to tram 1 and shops, facilities - sauna (you have to check prices), clean apartments, proper amenities in the apartment
wireless is weak - as already mentioned
- good tranport connection(railway nr 1 is 2 min away, nr 6 is 5 min away). it takes about 30 minutes to reach city centre. - spacious rooms, heat was no problem
- although I've requested parking at the time of booking it was not processed and we had to park on public parking spaces, which were pretty crouded at the time of our arrival. - the floor was not clean, Having two kids around playing on the floor made us wipe it with napkins and we removed a lot of dirt - at the time of our departure, we had to drag the sofa to retrieve some toys, and no surprise, we found tons of dust. - WiFi connection very poor, dropped every few min.
Cheap, clean, warm and all that we needed to rest. Supermarket and transports very close. Big rooms!
Curtains could be improved. Too much light comes in during night/early morning.
There was a mistake and were booked 2 apartments instead of one, tho it wasn't our fault the manager told us that we have to pay for the extra apartment otherwise she will call the police. Eventually we've paid even tho it wasn't our responsability. The staff showed us both the apartments so we can chose where to stay, and the manager told us that if someone will take the second apartment, she will refund us for one night. When we've checked out, we saw a group of 6 people exiting from the second apartment that we've booked, and we've asked them if they staid over night and they told us they've booked it the day before. When we've called the manager on the phone, about the situation and reminded her about the refund if someone will take our second apartment, she lied in our faces and told us that the group was staing in other apartment, not in the one we've paid for, even tho we've saw the gettin out from the exact apartment the staff showed us the other that was ours. I don't recomand this apartments if you want to have a peacefull and enjoyable stay or vacation. There is no reception, you have to call and wait for the staff for at least 30 min if you have a request. If you want to change the towels, they charge you 5 euros. The location is about 30 min from the centre of Vienna. If you are booking an apartment with a double bed, not sofa, there are basiclly 2 beds with wheels and it will get apart, so is impossible to sleep together. For us it was really an awful experience this booking and we dodn't recomand it at all. We were extremlly disapointed.
Good location, near tram station
In the apartment the written house rules state that the 35€ extra fee for the cleaning service tou require during the stay. We paid the fee when we arrivwd but nobody cleaned our room. I have been told that the fee is actually for final cleaning, after you leave. Very missleading...
Very dirty apartment they charge 35 euro for cleaning, I think it was for nothing. When we entered the apartment there was an royal smell of fries fish. I don't recommend. There is nothing royal in these apartments.
transport is very good. It is very close to supermarket.
Sofa was broken, TV chanells were only in German, a bed was very small
Great value for money Nicely sized appartment Very close to public transport Received welcoming sms with all check in details
The person staying on site did nit speak english, so it was a bit difficult requesting parking from her
excellent accomodation, near to public transport, 15 min to downtown by tram
We liked the apartment very much. It is ideal for those who want the possibility to make their own breakfast and dinner (or get something some of the amazing street food Vienna has to offer). The apartments are situated in a relatively quiet area. The tram no. 1 takes you directly to the historical centre so it is also very convenient for tourists.
Occasional tram noise from the street.
public transport (trem) across the street is very helpfull. there is a buzzer only for check in, they will hold your bags when you check out if needed, transfers to airport.
The appartment with 2 balconies was really big and complete. The tram stopped in front of the door. Supermarket was really nearby. The dvd was really handy when we had a spare hour. And, allthough we had a coffee machine in the appartement, there was also a machine in the entrance to get coffee or juice. Really great. If we ever go back to Vienna, I will book this appartement again. Thanks for the great holiday we had.
The location is not as the city center. But you will only walk to the tram and back, so it was absolutely no problem for us.
Nice and big apartment, good location, close to city centre
Nice apartment close to tram for the city and main train. Neighborhood has good shops for basic supplies.
Instructions from the apartment about how really easy it is to get to the apartment by bus from the main station would be helpful. To avoid a $12 euro taxi fare for a five minute journey is important for some people.
Now a days we need the phone and wifi. it hardly worked. i was really disserpointed with it...
Quiet neighborhood, parking around the building is free of charge. Everything inside the apartment is new and it is very clean and tidy. Good transport connections with every part of the city.
The location was good, the very frequent tram 1 was 1 min walk from apartments and the tram took you to centre in 10 mins! And a food shop which selled nice bread was a couple of doors down. The apartments were big clean and safe. They had a safe which was very useful and the apartments were nice and quiet. The staff were helpful as we had a problem with our safe and you could ring them if needed. I wished we stayed longer.
This wasnt a problem for us but the hairdryer and dishwasher didnt work. The 35euro cleaning charge was extremely high. But as we got a bargin price didnt bother us too much.
The basement floor where apartment was located, staff first didn't answer, then told they cannot change it.
Super markets nearby. Tram 1 stopped outside the door. well equipped apartment.
Staff were very helpful (but didn't speak much english) , would call taxis etc if you buzz them at front door. Room was clean, and close to train stations.
We had 3 people in the room, 3rd person got a sofa bed. Would have been nice to have an extra bed for the 3rd person.
Beautiful layout Spacious Clean Not too far from city centre Most facilities were there
Poor Wifi No oven ( because of the above a bed and breakfast hotel would have had more value for money) No english TV choices
no food service...but there r nearby many food joints
Spacious, comfortable, Clean apartment. Situated next to the tram station. Very helpful staff.
Not enough utensils in the kitchen. Wifi is very poor.
The appartment was well fitted with needed equipment. We found a nice bakery up the street where we could buy fresh bread every morning. For us who needed to go out of town every day south of Vienna, the location of the flat was perfect for driving out of town. Free parking outside all day. The gym which was free.
The area was not very good for tourists The wifi was very very bad. The person who opened the door for us on our first day could not speak English, which made it a bit difficult to get all details needed. The safe parking is their own parking otherwise you need to park in the street. Depending on the time of day, it could be difficult to find a parking space. If problem with the flat, the management can only be contacted by phone, if mobile not available this is a problem. The sauna is not free and we needed to call for booking it.
