Pension Madara  

Run away !!!! never, never, never stay here!!!! The beds are hard, the rooms and bathrooms are horrible, the people in the front desk don´t speak english. And have a dog that barks when the owner is not during the night

Location was excellent, nearby transport, close to the city, decent restaurants near Alserstrasse station.

The room cleaning is a little slack and some days necessities such as soap or toilet paper were not replaced and I had to go in search of more. Breakfast is basic, on one morning the bread had been sitting in a salt solution and was inedible.

The room was extremely small. The bathroom is like a tiny box inside the room with no space to move and it smelled like a public toilet that hasn't been cleaned. There is merely 25 centimeters between the toilet seat and the wall facing it, enough to barely fit a child of no more than 7. The shower box is only big enough for a toddler. The towels are old and tired.

This b&b accommodation has an excellent access, it easy to reach by tram or underground as well. Rooms in-suite are huge, conveniently furnished and their equipment run well. The staff is friendly, if you have problem they try to solve it immediately.

Breakfast was substential but the same during our stay and there was no vegetable or yogurt in the dish selection.

Even if we have booked the room with a private toilette, they said the toilette is broken and we have to use the common one.

The room is very clean and wide. Location: 5 minutes by walk from Alser strasse underground and near from the center (walking) They permitted us to leave our baggages after having checked out the room for free. Free wi-fi.

The lady doesn't speak in english, but tries to make herself understand. She's a little bit rude and even agressive when something isn't the way she wants. The breakfast is poor, but ok for the price. Sometimes it smells bad from the bathroom.

The staff was very nice and the location was excellent for my purposes.

Almost no facilities beyond free wi-fi. The heating was off at night despite extremely cold winter. No bathing amenities or hairdryer (probably not to be expected at a 2-star place), towels always falling on the floor from the peg. Breakfast was really poor - just bread, butter, cheese and ham, no yoghurt or some simple fruits.

The staff was friendly and the room very clean and wide. Good buffet breakfast, tram stop in front of the pension or 5 minutes by walk from Alser strasse underground. The girl was very kind, they left us the keys so we could come and go whenever we wanted. They permitted us to leave our baggages after having checked out the room for free.

Maybe they could put a coffee machine in their hall.

it's a cheap hotel, so u have to understand what are u gonna get for little money.

Total nightmare. Never stay there. Old building, horrible bathrrom wiht strange noises and a terrible smell. The receptionist is kind of paranoic and does not speak any English. We had a huge problem with the lady and the room (room nr 2) because it is forbitten to smoke in the room and althought we did not smoke in it she kept going into to the outside of the door room saying "no smoking bitte" and at the second time I ask her why she was allways saying it in our door and she explained to me in a very strange way that the electronic board for the smoke detector ways always lightened in our room. I tried to explaine to her that it should be a a technical problem because we didn't smoke. After that for 2 more times hapened the same thing and she kept acusing us of smoking and we where getting really pissed with all the situation. As it was only for 2 nights we tried to forget it because otherwise we would have called the Police because of false accusations. It spoiled my staying in Viena. Never again.

Hello, First of all the bathroom was actually a small box built inside the actual room, with air evacuation on the upper side of the box - right into the room. I've never seen something more stupid... It's very very ugly and every time you go to the bathroom you'll smell your own shit inside the room... The breakfast is very poor. I would never go back there...

Bathroom was not very clean, it was stinking and the shower cabin was to small.
