We altered our travel route based on the manager's very helpful suggestions so that we found a wonderful hike from a high Alpine road. The setting of the hotel is very good. We were made to feel very welcome. |

This hotel was out of the way but it was in a lovely rural setting (you would need to be driving) with a beautiful view of the mountains from our room. The owner was most helpful and gave us travel tips (which we took) resulting in a significant enhancement to our trip. |

My wife, son and I were very pleased with the family friendly staff and owner/manager of the hotel Maximilian. They catered to our 6 year old son which helped the parents also. From meals to a play area inside and outside. Very helpful staff in the restaurant and the owner Gabby was supper nice and helpful with advice on our visits to the castle in Germany. Shower curtain could be larger to help keep water in the tube! |

The Hotel Maximillian was more than we expected. The staff was exceptional, with a knowledge of the nearby mountain towns and ski and sledding areas, local history, sights and many ideas of things to do while in this beautiful region. The Hotel was comfortable, clean and updated with a very artistic, old world sensibility about it. |

The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. We spent the Christmas holiday there and they really made us feel special. The Christmas Eve dinner was outstanding and the music after the dinner was terrific. |

good bathrom Hotel Maximilian was listed with 24h reception, which would have been important for me. Altough I asked them on the day of my arrival to expect me coming very late, there was noone around and after 20 minutes of knocking and ringing an extreamly unfriendly lady let us in. She explained that there was no 24h reception and had no clue with whom I could have talked on the phone. She did not say sorry |

Friendly staff, nice food, room was small but comfy. They even provided evening entertainment because the hotel is a bit far out of town. |

Everything was great. The room was very nice with a good view and balcony. The staff was nice. The restaurant is superb and they have very tasty food - both breakfast and dinner. Good free parking. Very quiet and tranquil environment. From outside the hotel the view of the Alps is stunning. Absolutely no complaints. |

Both Gabi and Monika were extremely helpful during my visit and made a point to make sure I was enjoying my time in Austria. I only stayed 2 nights but will definitely return for a much longer vacation as soon as possible. I ate both nights at the restaurant and the food was excellent along with the entire staff of servers. The location is perfect. Away from the busy tourist cities! |

The family atmosphere and their concern for our well being.On one occasion ,Gabi, the clerk and daughter of the owner, saw we were not dressed warmly. She told us to wait and proceeded to fetch three jackete and sweaters for our female members and we needed them. Always a cheerful atmosphere from all staff members. We were blessed to be there. |

The best of the 11 hotels we stayed in and the lowest price. Helpful & friendly staff with great advice & directions for every interest. Lovely room with sun porch and view. Restaurant good. Quiet location. |

The on-site restaurant was outstanding--the food (both dinner and breakfast) was delightful and the service was personable and attentive. The hotel manager went out of her way to respond to her questions about local sights and treated us as truly welcomed and respected guests. I travel frequently, and I rarely receive this level of service (both stateside and abroad). |
