Nice size of rooms. availability of connecting rooms for families with 2 teenagers.

The fact that it was very clean and they offer a good breakfast.

The air conditioning was damaged. Warm air was blowing into the room. Today the Manager hasn't contacted me, yet. From this type of hotels, at least one could expect an apology, the money back, a vaucher, etc... after having experience the worst night ever.

Location was excellent with very friendly staff. Rooms were well done and clean, clearly cleaned before our arrival. Tea, coffee provided in the room as well as a close safe, very much appreciated. Did not get a chance to check out the bar or restaurant but our friends did and they had no complaints. Beds quite comfortable and shower adequate; hotel provides all necessary travel amenities for 2 people (body gel, shampoo, etc) Graz Center is very close (< 10 min walk), and numerous cafes are nearby. Did not try fitness or sauna.

The price is great but be warned it doesn't include breakfast, which will cost 15 Euros more per person. We recommend the Billa 2 doors down for a cold breakfast, which makes the Mercure in Graz ideally located for a very excellent price.

Location, service, bed was very comfortable, friendly staff.

We hated the faucet! Faucet in bathroom gave only one inch of water, cold, and needed to take time to run again; not possible to wash my face with that little amount of water. Shower had a sloped step instead a small wall, almost fell or slipped. Side bar at left side of toilet seat could not be put up so we had to squeeze through between sink and side bar.

There were crumbs on the floor and the shower head was very unclean, also before check out time we had a large linnen and cleaning trolley placed at either side of the door.

Very nice, very confortable and nicely located.

If you come by car, the staff will suggest you to take their 15-euro-per-day- garage option. But during the week end you can park outside the hotel for free (surprisingly the staff is not aware of that...)

They upgraded my room to combined two room instead of putting extra beds and i have the room with excellent view, staff was very cooperative I would like to stay at this hotel again

My room was very clean and comfortable and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location was very convenient for all tourist attractions and the shopping area. I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious and varied breakfast. Location was perfect with just a pleasant walk of 8 mins to centre of Graz. Protected underground carpark at a reasonable fee of Euro 15 per day. Free wi-fi in room worked well. Quiet location and rooms well sound proofed. Amenities all very good. Had a great visit to Graz and enjoyed this hotel very much. Would definately recommend.

A pleasant stay; cheerful staff; close to Altstadt, 5 minutes to reach mount Schloßberg; coffee machine in the room; view of Schloßberg from the window, though partially obscured by buildings nearby; the only hotel in Austria where I found a shaving set in the bathroom.

Relatively expensive breakfast in Hotel, however city centre is very close where you can have a meal at far lower prices.

Place in the city center. The hotel is very close to the city center.

The Price. The staff were welcoming and helpful,. The room wasn't very clean with a very stained carpet. There is additional charge for parking. The hotel should up the room price and do away with parking charges.

Months ago I had booked a non-refundable ticket through Booking.com. It turned out that through unanticipated circumstances that I did not initiate, I had to depart a day earlier. Before I arrived, I asked if I could get a refund or credit for another night's stay for that one day. I travel to Graz regularly. It was not allowed. Interestingly in March 2012, I had a very similar situation with another hotel. That hotel allowed me to shift the entire booking to a subsequent week. Thank you "other hotel." In using Booking.com for almost 7 years in Europe, these are the only times that such flexibility was needed.

The front desk staff and the breakfast room staff were excellent, energetic, and helpful. The breakfast was substantial, fresh, and tasty. The city of Graz was unexpectedly delightful.

The room needed a more thorough cleaning than the daily cleaning--there werenoticeable large stains on the carpet. The decor was flashy but not especially welcoming. The air conditioning did not appear to be working, making the rooms and the breakfast room pretty stuffy and hot. The neighborhood is a bit marginal. In all, the room was overpriced for the value.
