Hotel Fürst Metternich  

Muy tranquilo, edificio Art Noveau muy bonito. Las habitaciones limpias, aunque ya un poco antiguo el mobiliario. Muy bien situado con el metro muy cerca, y cercano a una de las principales vias comerciales de Viena. Merece la pena. El bar del hotel es tipo americano años 30 con camareros preparando cócteles.

El mobiliario del hotel podría ser un poco más moderno, y de mejor calidad, para el tipo de hotel y la zona.

Aunque la entrada al hotel es clásica, la habitación era moderna, cómoda y estaba muy limpia, así como el baño. Seguramente renovado recientemente. Muy recomendable. Además tienen descuento en un parking muy cercano y está bien situado, a un pequeño paseo del centro histórico.

Calidad-precio. Desayuno buffet. Internet free.

Demasiado calor en la habitación (en parte debido a la estación del año)

Esta muy cerca de la estación de trenes West y muy cerca de una calle comercial y de la parada de metro de la línea que te lleva al centro de la ciudad.

Hay un bar abjao y es posible escuchar algo de ruido si tienes una habitación en una planta baja

The room was very tidy and big enough for a short stay in Vienna. The staff was very friendly and walked us through everything. The hotel is very close to the Mariahilferstrasse (a shopping street) and on the ground floor is a great bar with a really hugh selection of hard drinks... The cupboard was big enough, everything was very clean (including the bathroom). There is a good seperation between smoking and non-smoking areas!!! For my next stay in Vienna this hotel is on the top of my list.

I did not like that there was no water whilst we were staying plus construction. It would have been nice to been notified before booking that these things were happening

Location was great.

We were expecting nice, quiet, courtyard facing room, but we got room with no air and light, next to the lift, facing other windows, with sweet ventilation rumor in background. It was not worth 100 euros per night. Despite we were with 8 months old baby, they could not offer us another room, since hotel was fully booked.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms.Profesional and friendly stuff. Excellent conection of free WiFi in the rooms.Very close to the metro station U3 Zieglergasse. Good breakfast. In the central shoping area in Vienna. The heating of the room was excellent.even the outside daily temperatures were around -8C.

Adding a tea/ coffee maker in the room.

Very centrally located, close to subway, reasonably priced.

In the morning, noise from the municipal trucks while collecting garbage.

Location is good for taking U-bahn to Westbahnhof or to city center. Nice staff. Everything is very good to me.

Maybe the only inconvenience is that: there is some security policy to prevent customers from using their own e-devices (say, water-boilers can be dangerous), thus there is really no electric socket in the room - except the one for the TV (which means you cannot use TV when you are recharging your cell phone, etc...) It's somehow like in order to avoid traffic accidents, people are not allowed to use cars...

Locaion is perfect - just 100 steps from undeground station, some 15 minutes from Wien Mitte station for direct train to airport, 50 steps from cheap supermarket. Free WiFi. Nice building.

1. We stayed there in beginning of January; as soon as we were leaving the room, the roomkeepers were cuting the central heating so that the room was cold for almost one our when we came back in the evening. 2. Breakfast is available at prices that are double compared with any decent nearby caffeterias or restaurants.
