The Kolping Wien Zentral is centrally located in the heart of Vienna, just over a quarter mile from the modern Museumsquartier.
Score from 1432 reviews Very good
Only a 10-minute tram ride from the Ringstraße boulevard, the Hofburg Palace and the Westbahnhof Train Station, the family-run Hotel Kaffeemühle offers free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 2120 reviews Good
The Meininger Downtown Sissi is in the Leopoldstadt District, a 10 minute walk from the Schottenring subway station. The modern rooms with private bathrooms are all soundproofed.
Score from 2528 reviews Very good
Jufa Wien is situated 400 metres from the Enkplatz Underground Station in Simmering (Grillgasse exit) and offers modern rooms and an atrium lounge which invites guests to linger.
Score from 2159 reviews Very good
Very clean and nicely decorated. Good location. Near the main shopping street and several underground stations. Very easy to get around.
No hotel staff after 9pm
Highly recommended Very convenient location. Good value, for money
Location, good mattress, size of the room.
poor wifi in the room
great location quite clean very good value for money
i didn't receive the password for wi-fi; those who are interested should ask for it
Location Proximity to public transport Proximity to eating places Staff were always helpful. Reasonable tariff.l
1. Lack of restaurant and dining facilities due to renovations. 2. Internet access was sometimes good, sometimes poor. 3. Access to shower was a tight squeeze. 4. Few English speaking channels on the satellite TV system.
Good location not far from the city centre and metro (U4 500m walk). Modern clean rooms with comfortable beds and wall-mounted flat screen TV's.
Gumpendorfer Straße is a busy street and the traffic noise is a disturbance. Request a room facing the courtyard.
Rooms are noisy
Location is good. A cafe next door serves good breakfasts.
Very small room, view to garbage can, bad wi-fi connection.
You feel at like a home : Since there is nobady at reception you should carry the key of the entrance door of the hotel. The hight of the ceiling wat more than normal.
There is air condition. There is only vantilator.
Nice staff, very close to Mariahilferstr.
The location, in a quiet neighborhood but very close to the main metro station. The room and bathroom were big and well equipped.
The wifi worked bad in the room. The staff was amiable but not very friendly.
cheap 5-min walking to Mariahilfer... bus stop right at the doorstep really clean super quiet
2 separate small beds... very poor almost zero internet no breafast room or bar...or nothing no AC, just a fan unit...
Clean. Quiet. Near metro station (5 min walking). Big room, simply. Nice people on the desk.
We paid for a breakfast but after the first day this wasn't available anymore without prior notification. They give us the money back, but we didn't expect to that. There was a problem with our TV, we informed the first day the staff, the next two day but nothing happend. So no TV.
We had enjoyed our stay in Mocca hotel. It was very close to city center and we had a lot to visit from there. The rooms were clean and it was a non smoking hotel. Everything was wonderful.
The lack of air conditioner. We had two rooms. In one of the rooms there was a chiller but in the other one it was absent and it was pretty hot. However, because we were very tired from visiting, it did not bother us so much. Overall it was great
good location, friendly staff, clean room with big bathroom
not possible to have breakfast, no air-conditioner even tough the ventilator was good replacement
Location is good but you must to use otto strasse for going to metro which is the next street to hotel Near by the hotel has a spar market
Maybe This hotel can be a cheaper because its not the near by the city center
Good location to walk to mariahilfer strasse and other prime locations Food stalls are available nearby the hotel even for supper. The receptionists are also very helpful.
Triple room – private bathroom – double bed + single bed – approx $101 cdn/night The room was decent sized, the front desk staff friendly and helpful and the room and property were clean and well-maintained. We found the shower ridiculously small (even by European standards) – so small that if you turned around in the shower, you’d either turn the water off or turn it all hot or all cold. I sort of expect this in a lot of European showers (I’m a pretty big guy) but when it happens with my wife (who’s pretty petite) you know things are pretty squishy. There’s no air conditioning in the room but the windows open (albeit it’s a bit noisy at night) and they do provide a good sized fan so we were comfortable despite the +30° weather. The large window sills made for a nice little work desk in the mornings (perfect size for a tablet or small laptop). In all the room was quite comfortable. We found it a bit pricey (it’s our second-most expensive hotel on this trip but by Vienna standards it was very good value). The main draw for this hotel, though, is its location. It’s perfect for a couple of nights’ stay. There are lots of pubs. cafes and restaurants around so we had lots of choices for eating each night and we were able to walk to the old town and all its attractions in less than half an hour, we were 10 minutes from the Naschmarkt and we were just 2 blocks away from a subway station with connections to all the other places we wanted to go (Schonbrunn Palace, the Prater, etc.). The hotel is also less than 5 minutes from Mariahilferstrasse – a primo shopping street – if you’re into that sort of thing (prices in Vienna were way out of our league). The only complaint we had was the WiFi was a bit spotty in the room. In general it didn’t work but we could get a workable connection in the mornings near the window… But there’s lots of places around with WiFi so it wasn’t a deal-breaker for us.
Very convenient location, nice design, clean and cosy, helpful staff and good service. Haven't experienced the breakfast.
No AC, the rooms are not soundproof at all - all street noises and every commotion in the neighboring rooms can disturb your sleep.
Close to subway station, clean, cozy, enough space
Internet wifi did not work at all, difficulty on speaking English with the recepcionist
location, good stuff
Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel is very close to metro station. 2 metro stops to center. Location is good.
Internet was poor
Hotel was very clean and staff was very good.
There is nobody in the reception between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM. One night, when we came to hotel, there was no electricity in our room. And there was nobody at the reception, there was no phone number to call in such situations. In addition, one of the reason in choosing this hotel was the good reviews about its breakfast. However, when we came to hotel we learned that there will be no breakfast during our stay because of construction.
Location is close to subway stations. The rooms were cozy.
The wi-fi was patchy for some devices.
Cleaning done every day, impeccable bathroom Changing towels daily if requested Good mattresses Good location in proximity of main transportation stations
Noisy rooms (thin walls, poor sound insulation) Sheets changed once in 5 days Very poor pillows Internet claimed free and available everywhere, in fact available only in public areas, not in rooms Useless staff, didn't know how to handle the check-in process Reception closes overnight (can't check-in after 9 PM) Poor bath ventilation
