BEST WESTERN Hotel Mondschein  

①OBBの荷物送りの制度を利用してスーツケースの、受け取りと発送をしてもらったが、完璧にやってくれた- 。特に届いたスーツケースを部屋まで運んでくれていたのには感激。②気温が高かったのでエアコンが効かず、- 故障しているのではとクレームをつけたら、即座に対応してくれた。その対応とは？小型の扇風機を部屋まで届- けてくれた。苦笑。設備の能力は彼らの責任ではないので、その対応力はよかったと思う。③観光のロケーショ- ンとしては大変良かった。特に暑さで疲れた時には一旦、部屋へ戻って休憩してから、また出かけることができ- て助かった。

①エアコン付とはいえ、その能力は他の設備に比べて劣る。3泊のうち2泊は暑くて、部屋におれなかった。外- 気は３３℃とレセプションの人は言っていました。②今回オーストリアで１０箇所のホテルに宿泊したが、てき- ぱきさとは裏腹に一番冷たい感じのするレセプションだった。私の英語による会話力がpoor な精も大分あるとは思うが。

Simple, clean, family managed hotel. Great continental breakfast! Right in the city center with free WiFi and free private parking! We were skeptical about the starry-sky-ceiling but I must admit it was really amazing!

Only hotel we stayed in over a 3,500 mile road trip where we couldn't book a smoking room.

We liked the fact that our son had a small separate room attached to ours, so it worked well for our family. We also loved the history of the hotel, and the fantastic breakfast which is included. The location is also excellent, just a 3 minute walk across the bridge to the old town.

This very beautiful cosy hotel is located very conviniently, the staff was exellent, worths its money. Good breakfast, nice atmosphere

The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was generous with excellent variety.

Check-in employee was surly. Complained that our "car was too large and would not fit in their garage"---which it did. Advised us that our credit card had been charged seven days before arrival. (We prefer to pay cash--better for us and the hotel, but this was not possible.) Hotel room was very hot, but very noisy with window open. Although well-appointed, the room was the smallest we had ever stayed in and we are frequent travellers to Europe. Innsbruck was crowded and other, near-to-Altstadt hotels were not available. We would stay at an outlying village before using the Mondschein again. We were made to feel like intruders rather than paying guests by reception.

The location was perfect. The room was very spacious and in lovely decorative order. The tea and coffee tray facility was a welcome bonus. Reception staff were first class, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and hot food! A perfect stay at Christmas.

There was nothing we disliked. A little road noise at night but not enough to affect our sleep.

The room was small.

Location of the hotel was first class you walk over the road and you are at the start of the city, There was a little road noise in the rooms but with this location that was to be expected.The hotel bedrooms have just had a refit dec 2011 and are very nice and clean,only thing they didnt have was the tea/coffee in the rooms and this would have been the iceing on the cake. So if you are looking to go to Innsbruck and want location this is the hotel for you as the city is just over the road.
