Amazing staff, specially Zuza and Alex. Very good hostel atmosphere and one of the cleanest hostels I have been, cleaning staff did great job.
They could add swinging beds in the garden as it is spacious enough and maybe a vending machine for some snacks.
It was clean, staff was friendly, we got really good tips on what to visit in the city and in the neighbourhood.
wifi was poor even in the lobby
Professional English-speaking staff. Comfortable beds and quiet location.
Premises are a little sterile and atmosphere a bit airporty.
Helpful and friendly staff; Hostel bar and garden - perfect places to meet backpackers from around the world; Close to the city center, located in a nice neighbourhood; Clean and neat rooms perfect for travellers of all ages; All necessary facilities; Internet OK
Wifi carpet dirty in room
Nice staff, 20min walk to the Hohensalzburg castle and old town.
Very expensive for hostel dorm rooms.
The shared rooms have three beds and one bathroom. So you only have to share the bathroom with three people, wich is nice. Everything was very clean.
Normal youth hostel
Really nice and helpful personnel, bathroom very clean
Our room was very very small for 3 petsons, we had to put bed sheet ourselves, no towel in room, no elevator and the place was far from the coty center
The staff was good however, the young man working the desk was very slow. For as busy as they were he was a hindrance. He could not multi-task even the the simplest things. He rudely would hold up his index finger as a means of stopping you in a sentence. The internet was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The female staff was great...thank you Sylvia!
Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hostel is in a nice upmarket suburb of the town and genuinely only 15 minutes walk from the Old town. Liked the hostel atmosphere.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and in addition to taking care of guests' needs, spent time visiting with guests and making us feel at home. In addition to being in a beautiful location in a garden near a park in a lovely neighborhood, the hostel itself was clean, spacious and welcoming, with lots of space and opportunities to meet and become friends with fellow travelers and staff. I spent a lot of time hanging out with guests and staff and made friends among both, with whom I expect to stay in touch. Not only was Muffin a relaxing and beautiful place to come back to every evening, but it provided the ultimate hostel experience by enabling guests and staff to meet and socialize, whether in the large, friendly common area, the bar, the garden or the computer/ common room. Probably the best hostel experience I've ever had. I was very sorry to leave my new friends among the staff and other guests!
Jadzia, Zuza, Aska, Joanna, Aleks, Marzena, Sylwia and Ola - the entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to accomodate me at every step and I could see how hard they were working to do the same for all the guests who stayed there. The location was good, only a medium length walk to the city center. The beds were pretty comfortable and the hostel was kept clean and tidy. And the price - impossible to beat! Overall, one of the better hostel experiences I've had!
The staff is nice and friendly helping us
Far away from the main station, the wifi is only available in the lobby and the room signal is rather low. The room is very very small, not worthy with the price paid
I have to give room key back to reception when I go out. The bed is not clean.
a bright, spacious, modern hostel in comfortable walking distance from the old town and not far from the airport. lovely garden area (although not usable due to rain for most of my 3 day stay) nice atmosphere, good breakfast. useful coffee machine. an enjoyable stay. i can very much recommend it.
the 3 bed room where i stayed the first time was very tight for space. also i would have liked to have a table and chair in the room (as in the 4 bed room where i stayed the second time). i would have liked to know that paying cash is required. as i didn#t know it was annoying and timeconsumming to have to go and find a cash machine late in the evening and in the rain. during the first stay 2 of the 3 beds were already taken, the room looked a mess, and the remaining bed looked messy too, the linen looked as if it had not been changed. i went to reception and asked for another room which i got no problem, and that was ok. the second time i stayed there was fresh linen on the bed.
spacious room, helpful staff
Insects on the beds, noisy, far from city centre, smelly kitchens and corridors, i paid for the room on arrival day but they also charged my credit card with the full amount. Still trying to figure it out
Unfriendly personnel. Very expensive. Dirty bed. Problems at check-in.
Green view, silent location
This is dormitory. No internet connection. Not clean. Some staff members impolite.
Free parking, nice and clean rooms, free wifi in "lobby". Night bar downstairs. Stuff was very good - working 24hours because they live there, mostly we communicate with Aska and Alek, they are do all their best to make you stay as good as possible.
You need to go over the hill and through tunnel to get to center - about 20 minutes walk.
Price was roughly on par with some other hotels. Location was convenient. Staff was helpful.
Wifi only in common area.
The girls were all very helpful... We got a great room with plenty of amenities for only €50! They hosted BBQs and organized a great trip for us... Couldn't have been better! Love that it is a school converted on the summer. Great guests... Husband rates it one of his top hostel experiences! Can't believe the low ratings.
A bit far out of town...we took the bus and still had to walk a few blocks... But that isn't soooo bad
The walls are very thin.
The staff were really helpful and u can tell they did pay attention on muffin hostel. U feel more homy there instead of a hostel. Recommended!
free muffins perfect stuff, always ready to help
check out at 10 is too early
