MyPlace - Premium Apartments City Centre  

The apartments are roomy and nicely decorated in a very stylish modern style. The location is ok, but it is a 10 minute walk to the center of Vienna, and about the same to the closest U-train (Staddenplatz). The apartment itself is very quiet, but there is often outside street noise in the night (see below). We stayed here for 5 days in 2008 as we liked it very much, and decided to return.

Be warned: this is not a hotel. The service is minimal, the staff at the front desk were young, and didn't seem especially interested in their job. The outside street can be noisy. We always heard crowds after the bars closed at 2 am. A disco is across the street. Smoking is a problem. This is not a smoke-free property. There is a mezzanine-level lounge which attracts smokers, and we frequently could smell tobacco in our room, most likely from the air ventillation system. Our experience was better in 2008. My Place provided robes and slippers then, but not now, althought they do now have a breakfast (but it's not up to the standard of a good hotel). Overall, we were not as impressed this time, and believe you can do better for the money in Vienna.

Very helpfull staff. Nice location. Good value hotel, good 4 stars residence hotel. For a quite cheap price, you get a clean, spacious, well located room, where the staff is very nice. It is not a five stars off course, but this hotel is like all the new residence in europe you can see since about 5 years, with clean and low value design furnitures, which give a good atmosphere. For a quite cheap price, you get 60m in center town, with a clean room, and very new refurbished hotel. definitively, you can go there without any hesitation. special thanks to the staff.

The first night, we had a room at the first floor (executive suite), and it was quite noisy. The staff gave to us a room at a higher floor, and the new room was very silent. The breakfast is not amazing, but the price is cheap. I prefer a simple plus breakfast for afordable price, than a 30 eur breakfast, that make a high extra cost, so for me it was ok.

We liked: Location, price, design of hotel (specially room), free internet & nice breakfast. My wife and I simply loved the hotel. For the price we paid we were pleseantly surprised.

Actually nothing. The only small problem we had was with the appliances (microwave and dishwasher). The problem was however immidiatelly attendet when we called a member of the staff.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable place to stay in and very friendly staff made my weekend stay in Vienna a wonderful one. I would definitely choose My Place again during my next visit in Vienna!

Outstanding staff. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location.

Flooring on upper levels is floated wood. Footfalls will disturb guests below; suites not recommended for small children.

The central location and really close to the city. Tram stop and bus stop to the airport is just 5 minutes walking distance. The rooms are well equipped.

The waiter ant the breakfast room seemed offended when he didn't have the answer when asked if the food was suitable for vegetarian. But everywhere in vienna is like that.

Clean, good taste in choosing the design.

For that price, no room service available, no way to park a car around the hotel, no slippers ... Could be cheaper than a 5* hotel, or it could offer at least same level of conort.

The MyPlace was a very nice experience. The room is a very apartment with all the comfort you look for. Absolutely to go again in the future.
