staff was nice and location great
I couldn't imagine such a narrow beds could exist, a public garden bench would be better to sleep, at least it wouldn't smell so awful that my room. A 3* hotel must be clean or at least give an impression of being clean. I would like to know who rated them with 3 stars. Even 2* would be highly exaggerated.
Great location, you can basically do everything by foot. Staff was very kind and helpful. The bathroom was clean and the shower worked perfectly.
Great location. Walking distance to lots of museums and sights !
Perfect location. Friendly, helpful staff, good value
Decor is outdated; may be an issue for some, but wasn't for me
Great location, big and clean room. You can order a taxi for 24 EUR to the airport
In the beginning I got a room with terrible smell, but thank them-they give me another one. There is no any English channel on tv
Great location, lovely room and nice staff, just made our trip amazing. You can walk to everything from this hotel which is a big bonus.
Right in the middle of downtown, excellent location!
Good bed Excellent Hotel location Quiet at night Good restaurants nearby Good location for 1 or 2 nights only
Small room (under 100 sq ft), with no space for more than 1 suitcase - a 2nd would have to sit on the floor No frig Bathroom very small No draped on window, only curtains Phone in room did not work
Very friendly staff, helpful and smily. Silent room. Early breakfast is ideal for businessmen.
Very crowded breakfast place, small variety of food and drinks. Parking could be solved somehow.
Helpful front desk staff, great variety of food in the breakfast buffet, clean & comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower :)
Very old building with good plumbing and an elevator. Right smack in the middle of old town. All sights within walking distance. Metro also very near. Grocery in the corner and all kinds of restos all over.
The location was excellent. The room was very good and the staff was very helpful. I liked the building and the entrance.
Although we got lucky and were able to park our car basically right in front of the entrance the parking might be a bit of a problem.
Vienna city centre is largely traffic free, meaning that the hotel is blessedly quite. My room faced on to the inner light well, and leaving the widows open was not a problem. Very helpful staff.
A little basic, and difficult to find. No tea/coffee making facilities.
Location. Quiet despite its location in the centre of the market square.
Breakfast. Single sofa bed was narrow and uncomfortable...not really a triple room for three adults despite room for a proper bed.
Felt fortunate to find this lovely place in the heart of town at a good rate.
1. Was in room 42, I suggest getting rid of the big stained chair (I repositioned it and used it to put my suitcase on, so it was handy). 2. On first night there, between 4 and 6 am, there was so much noise outside, of collecting bottles, from the cafes I suppose. The racket went on for over two hours, I wondered if there was a recycling plant on the street! 3. On this questionaire there should be more categories of who u travel with... ie - with a friend, or with a parent.
Location, view from window, friendly staff, breakfast.
Arrangement of room and furniture could do with an update.
Beds were not too comfortable--could you use better mattresses but we did sleep well!
There was too much furniture in our room which left us feeling a little cramped for space. There was not adequate shelf space and no drawer space--a nice dresser would fix that!
Every one who worked here was amazing! Great tips on places to eat and bars. Location is perfect!
Wonderful location, near a metro station and close to the best touristic points. The staff is competent and gentle.
location and silence
The location was fantastic - between St Stephen's and the Opera and very close to the underground. It's very affordable inner city accommodation.
Hallway outside our room was noisy at night.
having to share a bathroom
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the location was excellent.
The room was quite small and the walls very thin. The beds were not very comfortable. Due to the excellent location - right by St Stephens Cathedral, it was noisy so we had to keep the windows closed and it became quite stuffy.
