Breakfast was very good
I believe it will be very good to give sleepers and a bathrobe to each room. Also it will be nice to have a little fridge in the room with minibar inside.
My stay was really comfortable. The staff were excellent. The location was amazing. Loved the hotel. A very good choice.
The position was the only positive point. Very close to the center (5 minutes walk), it is perfect when you do not have a car and want to stay mostly in the city itself.
Dirty. the bathroom was so dirty, hair everywhere, could not take a shower(luckily we stayed only one night there) The bed. The so-called "king-size" that we paid for was actually a bed with two mattresses.
Breakfast was good!
Staff was unfriendly, dirty room, Parking expansive in the Public Parking garage
- in need of renovation / modernization. - characterless room -bathroom was not clean -windows were not clean neither inside or outside. -lift didn't work for two days. -mold in the room next to window. -we paid extra 30€ for 2 nights parking and local taxes at checkout.
The location was particularly convenient to the tourist attractions. The staff was helpful and friendly. The bathroom was clean and well lit. I'm glad we could get a light breakfast at the café.
Parking was a bit of a problem, but we found street parking available for free on the weekend. The cost of the breakfast was high.
Location is fairly good- cross the tunnel and you are at the center of the city (about 100 meters walk) - tram stops right outside the hotel. Quiet neighborhood and a supermarket nearby. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Quite economical for a busy weekend.
A very basic room - no kettle (or) any other facility. We were made to stay in a room that was across the road (not in the main property). The rooms when kept closed gave a strange smell - you had to keep the window open for it to go away. Beds were comfortable (but were twin beds stacked together). Pathetic WIFI - kept disconnecting every few mins. Reception never answered to phone calls.
location was great and staff very friendly
room was a bit dated
Spartan, small room
The city center is very close. The staff is friendly.
A very small parking which is charged.
Great location, a couple of minutes walk to the main shopping streets, you can also get the number 1 trolley bus direct from Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Reichenhaller StraBe which is bang outside the hotel.
Wifi a bit off and on, but generally OK. Bathroom a little tired but still relatively good for the price paid.
Location is close to the old city, price was reasonable (after Genius discount), considering that accommodation in Salzburg is very expensive. If you want to visit some of the sights, get the Salzburg Card, it's the best deal in the city.
Pillows were very thin, window frames could use some new paint/renovation, WiFi was very slow (especially upload).
Friendly staff, excellent location, nice bar, very nice rooms, good value for money
the computer system. There was a real mess when I checked out and the staff had difficulties getting things to work. A problem of the system not the staff
Good value for money, good location with a bus-stop right opposite the hotel
I was offered a room with one window that opens up into an area where there is exhaust from a adjoining Chinese restaurant. If the window is closed there is absolutely no ventilation and owing to the size of the room - it is quite easy to feel suffocated soon. 1. Beds are made for persons not exceeding 175 cm. 2. Pillows are flat and only one is on offer. 3. Duvet (comforter) is certainly short and narrow (tall people should decide between covering their chest or their legs. 4. The room is generally extremely small and very crowded. 5. The main block of hotel is what is pictured in the advertisement and when I got there, I was directed to a building (perhaps an older hotel that was bought by this hotel) opposite to the main building - This must be made clear and so must the facilities. 6. The second room I was offered was also in this building but I chose street noise to chinese cusine exhaust (those were the choices). In all, I wouldn"t recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to put comfort before economy. If economy is what is sought, then this might be one of the many to consider. This is certainly not even a three star!
- The position is very comfortable. - The rooms in the main building are very nice.
- There is no possibility to book the parking. - For the first night they gave us a two-single-beds room, instead of a double-bed room (as we booked). But they apologized and they kindly changed the room from the second night on.
Moved to an annex of main hotel
This hotel is very close to the city centre.
The room was a bit small, the facilities were a bit old and old fashion. The hotel in general looks like a 3-star (and even barely) hotel not a 4-star, we expected better for the price we paid.
Close to the city centre (walking distance) but out of it so you can park easily and you have easy access to the motorways and the airport. Quiet, clean, reasonably priced
The location is excellent, we parked in the altstadt parking which is perfect very central. just a 5minute through the tunnel and you're in alt stadt, loved the mozart chocolate on the pillow, the view was right on the mountain and tunnel which was very nice to have breakfast there
The balcony wasn't very clean. we had to clean it before we ate. It's a bit expensive, make sure to book the single room as single or double use because i booked it for single and we were two people and we were notified there with the extra 20euros. Also, we couldn't reach the reception from the room *no clear instructions* Our rooms were not in the same building where the reception was which was ok i guess but would be nice if there was some info regarding that.
You can use wifi only at reception :/
The location was better than being the other side of the river or 'old city' as there was more going on.
We were in the hotel opposite the main reception/hotel on the other side of the street and there wasn't any staff on duty there. We could not reserve parking and arriving later in the day we had to find alternative parking. Our sons bathroom light kept flickering on/off and as no staff were avail at this side of road, we never had a chance to complain.
Location within walking distance of city. 10 min. Bus ride from train station.
Very old decor. And old carpet. Very warm while we were there and no AC. Not near stores or restaurants. Indifferent staff.
Friendly n helpful staff. Great location.
The location is good
Two separate bildings acros the road My billding was smelly
Location, cleanliness, staff
Distant proximity of parking, wifi never worked for both rooms, and MOST IMPORTANTLY - No air conditioning in entire facility. Not good in July. I am sure that would be no problem in non-summer months.
