Obertrauner Hof  

We really enjoyed the stay in this Hotel, the room is very large,comfort and clean. The boss is very helpful and kind-heart. They even drived us to Hallstatt. The house is very large, the public area is very comfort.

The hotel is held by a family couple. They are welcoming and attentive people. We had to leave the place early in the morning and Trevor (the host) made us a breakfast (which was delicious) half an hour before regular time. The house is situated not far from the Obertraun station. It's 5km from Hallstatt settling and even nearer from lake. Our room had a balcony to enjoy the great mountain view. I'd recommend this hotel to those who travel with families or to people who enjoy quiet environment.

Our room had only one power outlet, so we had to use second one outside the room. Also we lived on the last floor and wi-fi access there was poor.

Debbie and Trevor are very friendly host! Since it's January, we were the only visitors who stayed there that night. They upgraded us with a larger room with mountain view. The room is clean and cozy. They also gave us useful information regarding Hallstatt and Obertraun. The breakfast was very good too!

Wonderful hotel and best owner ever. Obertraun is a good place to live for exploring Hallstatt, Gosau, and other surrounded spots. Really friendly and helpful owner who helped us on the bus and train transfer checking and gave us fresh pears as present. Will definitely recommend their Obertraun hof.

The owners are lovely, helpful people. The hotel is very quiet and there's a mellow atmosphere about it. Our room (the suite, I believe) had a small living room in addition to the bedroom and dvd player with a couple of movies which was nice. The shower was very big. Breakfast was nice and adequate although some vegetables would of been nice.

The bed was not the most comfortable one I've ever slept in. There was a satellite receiver in the room but it didn't work. Wifi signal was weak and we had to go outside the room to use it.

The facilities were spotless and confortable and it was easy to find. Only a few minutes from Halstatt and we didn't need to pay the higher prices. Trevor and his wife, Debbie, were friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Well positioned hotel for sightseeing Hallstatt, as well as local attractions. Nearby is the lake area, Golling waterfalls, Hohenwerfen castle and finally Salzburg. Good accommodation at moderate prices. Friendly hosts. Internet is working well. Breakfast is OK.

No TV in the rooms- children asked for it.

The reception is nice. The room is big and public space is also comfortable. The breakfast is very delicious.

Close to walking tracks, supermarket, lake, cablecar to caves.

Very warm welcome and services. Large and clean rooms (ideal with baby). Quiet and easy. Very good breakfast. Just feel like at home. Thank you very much!

We had a excellent stay at the Obertrauner Hof and Debbie and Trevor were wonderful hosts.They were very kind and helpful.We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again !
