Score from 716 reviews Very good
Set on a quiet side street of Innsbruck, this family-run hotel has a beautiful view of the nearby mountains and is within walking distance of the center of the city.
Score from 1090 reviews Good
simple, clean accomodations. spacious rooms. breakfast included. overall, good bang for the buck.
wifi wouldn't work in the room, had to go down to the common area to connect. couldn't find any power outlets in the common area!
The hotel is next to stadium, so you can see some ICE Hockey games etc. Its also is walking distance from Rail station. For wi-fi you have to go near hotel reception area. Breakfast was standard.
Beds were not very comfortable, my back was paining whole next day.
Good breakfast, interesting place, room large
Poor reception by staff member - very off putting, beds noisy when you moved and uncomfortable, no service to rooms despite a 4 euro a night per person "service charge"
Huge room, very bright and silent during the night, good breakfast, 20 minutes walk to the city center
We arrived after 11p.m. bec. of the construction works on the Wien-Innsbruck line. I informed the reception in advance about it, as there is no late check in. However, when we arrived (by taxi for 8 euros, as at night the city is almost sleeping) a man was waiting just for us, so we did not need to even telephone. The room was spacious, calm, quiet and clean - originally planned for 3 people, but it was only me and my mother (there was no such an option to indicate on this site). There were extra quilts on the shelves in case of a cold night. A small soap and several towels were at hand to use. The staff was absolutely kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good, early birds are in advance, as the breakfast time is from 7:15 to 9:00, and the first ones have wider choices, however the lady there brought out extra yoghourt. You can eat whatever you want and find on the tables (including bananas and apples). The hotel itself is not in the center, but can be easily approached by the bus "J" and an other one like 4136 (or similar), the bus stop is just some steps away from the main door for both directions. Advice: buy the Innsbruck card (available at the reception desk as well), but be aware as it is valid from the time of purchase for 24 hours. The Sightseeing tour bus, a red one with a logo, stops at the same bus stop, as line "J" (for both directions). Take a city map at the reception and an other one on the ST bus, the last one will indicate the places to which the bus might take you with pictures on the other side. The card worth the money, as you can enter to so many places withouht paying extra entrance fee, and you can use the buses as well (including this sightseer which has stops at the main tourist points, and you can step down and up wherever you want).
Nothing. We were absolutely contented with the Olympiaworld-Landessportcenter.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt really welcome. We could leave the luggage there for free while we paid a small visit to Venice. Easy access, big ang light rooms and we did not mind the simple furniture. Breakfast was great and full. Thank you Renata!
The staff at the hotel was very generous and polite. Thr information desk at hotel was one stop shop for all the sightseeing information. This saved lot of time and money for us. They provided all the help with excellent hospitality.
Since the hotel is primarily a sports centre hence the room type and facilities are not like a hotel. However all the basic necessities are being taken care of.
it's not a hotel no wifi in room, no laundry, no kettle, they have nothing it's a athletic field
Clean room, basic breakfast and polite staff.
Small and poor in facilities bathroom. Designed to host mainly athletes and sport teams. 20min walk away from main station.
The place is simple and clean. Well located and there is a nice place to have a coffee from the vendor machines and use the internet.
Sometimes the parking lot gets busy because the place is also used by athletes, be aware of that. I had to wait a couple of minutes until a spot was free.
