Clean bathroom. Close to train station. The staff are very helpful.
Wifi doesn't work in the room. Very loud Noise from road construction in the morning.
room is so small. location is poor. far from interesting places, and it takes me 20 mins to walk there from the railway station .
Close by the bus stop; breakie is correct; it is quiet at night & staff is knowledgeable.
No atmosphere other then stay in the room.
Close to the train/bus station. Clean enough. Hot water in the corridor although complicated to bring cups to the upper floors
No heating, noise from the street, no wifi at all on the 1st floor, bad pillows
Easy bus access to city
Parking can be a problem. WiFi not to all rooms and the offered lounge area is closed after 2000. Only 2 plastic (dirty) cups in the room. Bed and room shakes when anything larger than a car passes (second floor)
everything, very good directions were given to find the pension.
The breakfast was nice, but why to call it "typical Austrian" in your booklet. Never saw so limited breakfast in Austria, even in very simple hostels. This was Typical Italian minimum.
Pension Elizabeth is easy an easy walk from the train station and it's easy to find. The bus stop right across the street makes it easy to get downtown quickly. It's on a busy street so it is a little noisy at night but not enough to keep you awake if you are really tired from traveling as we were. The free breakfast of fresh rolls and spreads, coffee, juices ect. we're nice and it was very inexpensive to add to your breakfast if you wanted. I highly recommend this lodging for a low cost stay in Slazburg.
The breakfast menu has something called "stewed fruit" which was simply canned fruit cocktail. It might have been better to offer a selection of seasonal fruit for the extra cost.
Location of this hotel is not too far from the heart of Salzburg
Price (69euro) is not cheap for what you get. Bad sound isolation, floor is making squeeky noise. It is location right next to a major road to city center. There for a lot of cars, trucks pass by, making a lot of noise. Only 3 parking spots are available
The location was perfect! Just a short walk to the town centre. Bars and restaurants close to the property so it was easy to walk anywhere. Clean and comfortable, great value for money. Friendly staff.
Not a great deal of parking, but we always found a park on the street close by.
-Convenient location -Good breakfasts
-Does not work Wi-Fi
Best value per money
The wifi didn't work.
While located on the edge of an industrial zone, the pension is on a good bus line and in good weather takes ~35 minutes to walk to the old city. Very clean, helpful staff, large rooms. Parking for 5 cars can be full, but there is free street parking a few blocks away. Breakfast (included) is generous, although we noticed that this depends on who is working in the kitchen. Free hot water (for tea, noodles) provided all day is convenient (they do not allow cooking in the rooms).
The location is awkward for late concerts (the bus stops running before midnight), but a system of night taxis helps. The rooms facing the street (which is most of them) have constant traffic noise late into the night, and the rooms by the back entry suffer from the cigarette smokers who stand there. We asked to change and were given a much nicer room over the garden. Internet access is very weak in most rooms, so that people are regularly perching on the stairs by the office in order to read email.
nice room, helpful friendly staff.
Wifi didn't work in room
Overall poor value for money: Wifi didn't work in the room, TV didn't work (they said they would send someone to fix it, but didn't), good 25 min walk to center (in an already small city), breakfast was just some bread and cheap spreads, room was too small with shared bathroom, reception only open until 7pm. Felt insecure leaving bags, staff only reasonably helpful.
Clean room, good location , and good breakfast!
Wifi doesn't work well. I should go downstairs to use wifi.
Location. 3 bed room is spacious.
No water pressure and either scolding hotbor freezing cold. Flat, flimsy pillows. Free parking yes, but only 3 small spots. The same three cars were parked in the spots the entire time.
Very clean and the room is very spacious! The staffs are very kind and helpful. I like the breakfast they offer, though simple but made me feel comfortable.
A little bit far away from the old town, but there is a bus station nearby. So all in all, the location is okay. What was the biggest problem is that I can't access to wifi in my room. To use internet, I have to stay in the hall (and it's slow). I noticed there is a TP-link just outside of my room, but still it's useless. Hoping the hotel can improve it.
Staff were very helpful with information about Salzburg. The Pension Elizabeth was an extremely clean place to stay with everything which we needed for a couple of nights stay. Good location and not too far from the centre by bus or by foot.
The breakfast could be better than just a few slices of bread and paying for add ons however pros outway the cons.
The hotel is in a good position, the city center is in a walking distance and easy to find it. The staff is kind and helpful. The furniture is simple but clean and meets the function. I recommend it first of all for young people as a transit accommodation.
Because the hotel is on a main road daytime when big trucks are coming the building has a tremor that you can feel in the bad as well. During the night girls are „working” in the close area but we always felt safe. The bed is very soft so for elderly people it is difficult to climb out.
Too noisy for the rooms along the main road.
Cleanless, Comfort, English speaking staff, very polite and helpful staff
Problems with wi-fi. We told it to staff at check out, so they probably solved it.
The accommodations were comfortable and clean and a good price
The breakfast was not very substantial. All you got were a variety of rolls. Not my idea of breakfast.
breakfast there was rather simple but enough. The staff were kind and let us check in before 11 AM.
