Easy to go by car. reasonable price. WIFI access is easily available.

Location and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

The hotel charged me twice for one night! I paid by credit card but the day after another payment has been charged from my card. That was realy bad. My impressions have been changed.

Great location and a great place to stay

Breakfasts had a good variety and everything fresh, very friendly owners and staff, very accomodating and pleasant. This was our second stay during this holiday and will definitely book again when in Mondsee. The pension is right in town and it was nice to be able to walk to the lake or to the center of town where the church, museum, shopping and restaurants are.

Pension Goschlberger is a good choice for an economical stay in Mondsee. The room was clean, the bed was fine, the breakfast buffet was good, and the staff were friendly.

As an older couple, the walk into the city center was too far for us to attempt; we normally select a hotel where we can walk to everything, but in Mondsee, those hotels closer to the city center were either much higher in cost, or, were not rated very well. Driving in was complicated by a significant lack of parking.

Owners were very friendly, helpful and made sure you were comfortably at Pension. The breakfast was buffet with fresh fruit and juice, cereal, yogurt, bread and buns, sliced meat, soft eggs, coffee, etc. Except Sun. & Mon. Evening the restaurant was open and the menu not large but enough variety to choose from. A must is the wiener schnitzel. We extended our stay to 6 days and intend to stay again before leaving Austria to fly home. The pension provided parking for the guests, and was short walking distance to the town, beach, museum, shopping, etc. The Salzcammergut area is absolutely beautiful and a must to see when in Austria. We hope to visit again next year.

Three tings: 1) condition of cancellation 30 days before arrival I had to pay 50% of room cost 2) there was neither shampoo, nor soap in room 3) lady-owner broke-in the room at 8.00 in the morning without knocking on door, just by mistake...

The host and hostess were very friendly and hospitable.

Driving out of the hotel parking lot, the view to the left was blocked by a bush. This was a cause for caution with oncoming traffic.

The family who run the pension are are keen to ensure that all their guests have a good holiday and this is reflected in the way the pension is run. It is furnished to a good standard with clean bright airy rooms and spotlessly clean bed linen. The meals were the usual continental selection one would expect with the addition of a fresh orange juicer which was a welcome pleasure every morning. The hosts work hard to make a success of this business and it shows. They both speak good English and despite their busy schedule always had time to stop and have a chat. Very good value for the bed and breakfast and also for the optional evening meal which we found to be of a similar standard to a much more expensive one we tried down the road one evening during our stay. One further delight was the sight and sound of the rushing stream which runs several feet below over a rocky watercourse by the side of the pension.

Perfect location for trips at Salzkammergut region. Clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Free WiFi + free parking. Good value for money.

Considering we were next a main road the room was very quiet. The garden was great for sitting out in and had various things for children to play on. Also a very friendly cat. The breakfast room in the cellar was great- especially as the temperature when we were staying there was above 30c! Very Very friendly staff.

Die Pension Göschlberger ist ein sehr netter Familienbetrieb. Die Zimmern waren geräumig und sauber. Besonders gefallen hat uns - neben den netten und humorvollen Besitzern - der Aufenthaltsraum und der Schnitzelkeller!!! Sehr lecker! :)
