It's a family business and owners are lovely, they look after every guest and are extremely helpful! They really made our stay enjoyable. The food (included in the chalet board) is plenty and amazingly tasty! We'll definitely be back.

Everything! We had a wonderful holiday and it was the most relaxing, enjoyable Christmas we've had for years. Joanna and Rob are wonderful hosts and simply could not do enough for us. The food was excellent and they laid on a beautiful traditional Christmas dinner complete with crackers and lit Christmas pudding. We were made to feel very welcome indeed and in the morning we even discovered Christmas stockings outside our bedroom door. The accommodation is outstanding in the most beautiful of settings and the service provided was second to none. A huge thank you to Joanna, Rob, Duncan, Michelle and the delightful, helpful boys!

Excellent location if you like peace and quiet.Away from main street. Mountain view- one side Dachstein-Tauren, from the other Schladminger Tauern.Very friendly and helpfull owners(english-speaking). The rooms are modern and each has its own style, so it is worth to see the pictures. Big advanatage is the Sommercard. Very close to the trails- no need to use car if you are going to hike in Dachstein area.

I loved the location, the room and the view from our wrap around balcony was amazing. Hosts Joanna and Rob were friendly and always very helpful. Myself and my partner also had two home cooked meals at the pension which were lovely. We originally booked for two nights but decided to add an extra night when we arrived as there is so much to do in the area. The summercard was included in our room rate, so we saved ourselves quite a bit of money as alot of the activities and lifts were covered by the card. Overall a great stay and one of our favorite places that we have been on our two month trip to Europe.

We stayed at Pension Hoffelner for 6 nights in July. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean with a fantastic view from the wrap-around balcony. Breakfast was excellent, the freshly baked rolls delicious. We also made use of the free internet terminal in the lounge to check emails. This was great as we didn't bring a laptop. Rob and Joanna are great hosts and made us feel at home straight away. They are both very knowledgeable about the local attractions and walks (the main reason for our visit) and had great suggestions for places to visit, some of which we would have otherwise missed. As we visited during the summer, our room rate included the 'Summercard' which gives totally free access to buses, cable cars, guided walks, museums, swimming pools etc and discounts off other attractions/activities – we saved loads of euros using them. As an example, cardholders are entitled to a free return ride on the Dachstein cable car which is normally 32 euros per adult. These cards are not available to buy – you can only get them if you are staying at an affiliated hotel like Pension Hoffelner. A family using the Summercard would save a substantial amount of money. Other things we did included 'Wild Wasser' which is an amazing waterfall walk (with vertigo-inducing bridge across the gorge), Cable car to Hochwurzen (and go-kart back down – great fun!), and a visit to the Eisriesenwelt Ice Cave (largest in Europe). There are a number of good restaurants in Ramsau, which is a 15 minute walk away. There are also two supermarkets (Spar and Bila) close by. We also drove into Schladming a couple of evenings which is about 10 minutes by car. Schladming has many restaurants and cafes to choose from and is a nice place for an evening stroll. We're not skiers, but when Rob told us how great the winter walking is in the area – there is a chance we will be back in the winter! All in all a fab time was had.

Fantastisk beliggenhet med flott natur, flotte turmuligheter rett utenfor døren. Utrolig hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Rent og ryddig, pene rom, God atmosfære.

Hadde vært kjekt med vannkoker på rommet.

The room was friendly, clean, and very convenient with mountain view. Rob & Joanna were great hosts, and extremely helpful. "Sommercard" was included at the room rate, which helped us to save a lot of money. The breakfast was very good too: there was a good choice of jams, nice bread, good coffee and so on. Ramsau is a great place to visit. Wish we could have stayed longer... A szállás Budapesttől nagyjából 550km-re van.Mi reggel 6 körül indultunk, három alkalommal álltunk meg odafele, és kényelmes tempóban (a szabályokat betartva) délután 1 óra körül érkeztünk meg. Az utak hibátlanok, végig van látnivaló (hol a hegyek, hol az alagutak), nem egy unalmas utazás. A szállás nagyon szép, és nagyon tiszta, igényes, jól felszerelt és nem utolsó sorban gyönyörű a kilátás bármely szobából. Rob és Joanna (a házigazdák) szívélyes fogadtatásban részesítettek, végig segítőkészek voltak: pl. éttermeket javasoltak, illetve olyan helyeket amelyeket érdemes megnézni. Minden nap -reggelinél vagy napközben- érdeklődtek, hogy "mi újság?" minden rendben van-e stb. szóval igán otthonossá tették az eltöltött pár napot. A szobák jól felszereltek: kényelmes ágy, lcd tv, dvd lejátszó és műholdvevő (bár nem tévézni megy az ember, de volt kb. 300 csatornájuk amiből 0db magyar volt ). A fürdő is tiszta és szép. Reggeli: szokásos svédasztalos (de nem nagyüzemi) reggeli, zsömle (forró és friss), lekvárok (nagyon finomak), felvágottak, mézek, főtt tojás és hasonlók, valamint teák, kávék, gyümölcslevek. Bátran mondhatom, hogy jól lehet lakni :) . Ramsau városa gyalogosan 40 perc sétára van a szálláshelytől (kocsival kb. 2-3 perc) de gyalog sem vészes. Van a közelben Spar, és Billa - de készüljön mindenki az osztrák árakra mert sajnos semmi sem olcsó.. A szállást mi azért választottuk , mert itt benne van az árban a "Sommercard" nevű kártya, amivel gyakorlatilag a környék - sőt a távolabbi részek - rengeteg látnivalóját lehet megtekinteni/használni ingyen.

Profesionální přístup majitele/personálu k návštěvníkům. Příjemné, klidné prostředí. Možnost vstupu na turistické stezky přímo od penzionu.

Hele mooie ligging, zeer gastvrije eigenaren met veel kennis van de regio, schoon en mooi aangekleed pension.Rob en Joanna hebben de regel dat wanneer je binnenkomt je je gebruikte schoenen in een aparte ruimte neerzet en je verder door het pension beweegt met schone slippers wat toch wel zegt hoe ze het schoon willen houden. Zeker het terugkomen waard.
