- In the city centre, walking distance from railway station, nice and cozy room, nice and polite staff There was no body at reception when we reached at 7 pm and we had to approach the adjoining restaurant/bar. They had to call the hotel staff to confirm the booking. The hotel staff had no knowledge about our booking (they told that they have not received any information from booking.com). The invoice initially had a charge of 85 Euro/ day as against 70 Euro/day booked on website. |

This is a favourite hotel. I have stayed here several times. It is close to the station but also not too far from the centre of town. I prefer hotels like this which are small and family run as they have more character. For the British it has now become quite expensive (fall in pound). I stayed at a four star hotel in Budapest which was cheaper. Only Paris had more expensive hotels (£60 per night) during this trip. |

Location, price In my view, the staff uses very cheap materials in cleaning the hotel/bed sheets, which in some people lead to allergies. |

Decent location walking distance to all major sites. I booked a room with a private bath and upon arrival there were no more rooms with bath. Hotel did give me a discount for the lesser room. Hotel was dark and somewhat difficult to navigate. Very old hotel that could use some more upkeep. Loud street side room as well. |

Location No telephone in the room, no lift. It is an acceptable accommodation for 1 or 2 nights, but the price is relatively high. |

The hotel is run down and in need of refurbishing. There is no elevator which was a problem with all the luggage. |

Hotel was only 10 mins walk from centre of Salzburg. Good breakfasts. A bit pricey for what it was - room was really rather basic. Very near station so a bit noisy. However, for Salzburg prices it wasn't bad at all. |

Good room size. Enjoyable breakfast setting. The shower did not drain well and would easily flood the entire bathroom if you did not turn off the water several times during your shower. One of the beds had missing and broken slats so that the mattress would not lie flat and was very uncomfortable. On a noisy street. |

Nice breakfast, good location, very close to train station. Had to stay in a twin room for the first night instead of a double. Couldn't change until the following day because we had to deal with person behind the bar in pub next door as reception was closed when we arrived. |

Great staff -- very helpful when we needed medical attention. Very convenient to trains and downtown areas. You can walk everywhere. Childrens beds were a little bit uncomfortable. |

The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I wanted a room with aircondition it was changed immediately without extra charge. The room is very clean and comfortable. There was a slight noice disturbance from the trains passing by. |
