Very friendly staff, good location.
The first night, I stayed in room 410 which is location outside the safe door, next to the stairs. that room was way too small, and you really feel like you are in jail cell. The bed as well was way too small despite the fact that I choose large bed option when I did the booking. I requested an other room for the second night and then it was ok. I would recommand to the the hotel not to give such kind of rooms to clients as they give a very bad impression of hotel lehrerhaus.
Location, quiet rooms
All the above remarks ay it all, I have stayed here many times. Would I if I were not satisfied?
The hotel is situated in a good location, clean room, comfortable bed, hot water ,en suite facilities good. Nothing wrong with the actual hotel.
We booked well in advance of our stay, as we are both in our 70s and my wife is blind .I sent a message asking about escalator ,lift facilities ,I got no reply. The young reception staff booked us into the most unsuitable room they possibly could it is the only room in the hotel that is a long way from the reception and has a long flight of stairs to it. All the other floors are served by a lift. I told them I wanted a room change ,I was told none available until 11.00 a.m . the next day , and that it would be on the !st floor near the reception. Next day we were given a room on the top floor. We were never helped with our baggage to and from the rooms during this room change. The reception staff were most unhelpful considering our age and my wife is blind . The young reception staff need to have a total change of attitude to the old and disabled.
Location Value for money Peaceful
Only one shared shower on a floor and that too was very far from my room.
- good central localisation - clean room
- there were no hot water in the room - wifi didn't work - I have no access to bathroom (3rn floor)
Room was big and clean. Staff gave us an electrical heater for the cold (heating was not on).
WC was separated and shared with other people, but other than that everything was OK.
the level of residence is poor
Walked to everything! Nice staff, comfortable room, would stay there again.
reception staff were excellent, friendly and helpful, as was the breakfast lady. good location, good Internet connection, all round good stay, with very clean rooms! I would stay here again for our winter shopping trip.
No complaints. It exceeded my expectation of a 3 star hotel.
New furniture, clean smell and very friendly staff
Great location, clean and large room, friendly staff who can speak excellent English. Shared bathroom is huge with reliable hot water.
Paid 36 euro for a single room - can be rather pricey if you are a solo traveler
Location is excellent right in the city center.
Wifi didn´t work properly. First I got room for one person, which is located in the corridor outside the security doors and wifi didn´t work there at all. I changed for bigger and more expensive room, the connection worked there much better but if you need wifi for example working, I wasn´t convinced that this would be my choice.
We were easily able to walk from the local station on arrival the Pension is easy walking distance from the Museum quarter & a little further on to the Naschmarket - both not to be missed we used the trains to go to the city to see St Stevens basillica & further on to the old River Danube for relaxation Maria at reception was hugely helpful, in assisting with our experience of Vienna a lift is available to get to the upper floors the separately purchased breakfast was ample, & we felt good value
While we were aware the facilities were shared, we didn't expect to go through 2 locked doors to get to the bathroom the room was stifling hot in summer - all it needs is air circulation like a fan, as the windows couldn't be opened the wifi did not reach the area where we were staying, so could only use it in the lobby.
Location is quite good
Room had a terrible smell Not convinced this was value for money
The hotel was a comfortable walk to everything. For a short stay it is perfect. Beds were comfortable and the staff more than helpful. We had an ensuite room. Breakfast was available though we preferred to go out.
close to the center and at the same time in a calm area. comfortable bed. very reliable wifi! Good value for money!
staff in reception not being very nice and welcoming, not taking time to give information. the window in my room covered with curtain not possible to move making it gloomy and dark (though my colleague got a better room).
Good location, close to the Rathaus, Parliament. The room was quiet and clean. The shared bathroom and toilet were clean. Free luggage storage was possible at the reception. Shared fridge was in the corridor. Very good price for value / location.
Too much doors, keys, floors, but quickly to get used to it.
Location is very nice, five minutes from Rathaus and metro on a quiet street. Old house, everything there is old, but from the times when things were made well. Some of the facilities look like they were renovated keeping in mind the historical value of the house, and they are kept well-maintained. All facilities I used worked.
The breakfast lady did not speak a word in English, and this delayed my mean for 5 minutes:)
It was really nice time, pension is located close to centrum, so You can walk almost everywhere. Price for night extremely cheap. Also customer service really kind and helpful.
Wi-fi sygnal only on the corridors.
Leo was a fantastic host - genuinely took an interest in ensuring that I had a nice stay. Rooms were a little outdated but it was clean and there was wifi/flat screen TV so it was perfect. Breakfast was fabulous too. Location was close to Krems but you definitely need a car. Also, there's a great vineyard / restaurant called Nigl nearby.
The pension was near the city centre and the room was relatively quiet. Reception staff were friendly and I also liked the setup of the common area, even though I didn't use it much. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Common toilets were clean as well.
It wasn't exactly value for money to me. 65eur for a single bed with shared toilet without breakfast was too much; I could have found a better hotel even a little bit further out from the city centre, but unfortunately there were no vacancies anywhere else that night.
Nice position, about 5 minutes walk to the rathaus metro station. The breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and big enough.
There was only old people, over 50 or even more.
It is very kindly to give costumers gifts for Easter Festival, like a kind of surprise.
