Star Inn Hotel Wien Schönbrunn is conveniently located in Vienna’s 15th district, a 5-minute subway ride from the Schönbrunn Palace and the Westbahnhof Train Station.

The family-run Hotel Cryston with over 100 years of tradition is right across from the U4 Margaretengürtel subway station and only 3 stops from the State Opera in the center of the city or Schönbrunn...
Score from 1087 reviews Very good
The quietly located Ramada Encore Vienna City Center is just 325 ft from the Längenfeldgasse and Meidling Hauptstraße U-Bahn (subway) Stations.

Hotel Casa D'oro Schönbrunn is located in a quiet area, a 7-minute walk from the Schönbrunn Palace Gardens and the Vienna Zoo. It offers an organic breakfast buffet with products from Austria.

Very clean. Close to both railway station (we needed in early morning) and Underground station. Comparatively cheap.
There was lapse due to miscommunication and the staff was very apologetic and went out of thier way to give a better service to the guest. Comfortable room
Cozy hotel close to U-Bahn with nice service. Clean and warm rooms for staying.
No card payment, only cash. Anyhow - ATM is across the street in shop.
Great family run hotel with excellent service. Well located for the metro into the city. they were very helpful in sorting out the carparking options.
Functional but very clean, tidy, friendly and comfortable. Very convenient for Westbahnhof, Schonbrunn and the metro.
I missed a lounge / bar. Not really a complaint but my room was a very funny shape; mostly corridor!
It is only 1 stop from subway Wien Meidling train station. Very convenient.
The lights in the room is dark. If you want to read, It will damage your eyes.
My wife and I were travelling by train from Prague to Budapest with a three night stopover in Vienna. Because we had three suitcases (as my wife loves to travel light - not!) we needed an hotel with easy access to/from Vienna Meidling station This hotel was great. Only one stop away on the metro station which has elevators to and from the platforms to street level. The front door of the Hotel Riede was less than 100 metres from the metro station escalator entrance and only slightly more to the entrance with the elevator. The hotel staff were most accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean and adequate. When we arrived I enquired about the link between the hotel and the winery which is run by a member of the family. I was told that we would be given a complimentary bottle of the family wine on our departure but as this would have added even more to my wife's luggage for our onward journey I asked for, and was given it, there and then! The only hotel that I have visited with a bottle of wine on arrival. A great stay! A word of warning when travelling on the metro in Vienna. Many of the stations are unmanned but buying your ticket is simple from the many machines on the concourse, particularly as the instructions are in several languages..... Or so we thought. Both being over 65 we naturally purchased the ticket offered by the machine (1euro 20 for each journey) "concession and child" and validated it there and then for travel. After 48 hours of using the metro we happened upon a station with a manned ticket office. I happily explained to the ticket officer how we had mastered the machine to purchase our ticket only to be told that had we been stopped by an inspector we would have been liable for a 3000 euro fine. Although the fare we paid was correct, the ticket from the machine was for a child or a dog!! We should have first produced evidence of age at a ticket office and then bought a 24 hour pass to use on public transport.
Everything was fine at the Hotel. Breakfast, staff, room. It is not in the centre of Wien but it is really easy to reach the centre in about 20 minutes by underground. There is a big interspar in front of the Hotel and we booked a parking place in advance which is 2 minutes from the hotel. It was simple, I wrote it when I booked the room and they booked the garage for us. I could easily reach them via email, they answered quickly. We could buy Vienna card there as well, and they gave us all the information we needed. We definitely come back with our little children, it will be excellent for the whole family too.
Nothing. Everything was excellent for us.
Good location. Staff goes out of the way to help.
If you must have WiFi, then this hotel is not for you. WiFi signal could not be detected. Since we only stayed one night, it was not a problem.
Friendly staff Comfy beds Spacious room
staff was really friendly, price was exceptionally good, good connection to the city centre (metro stop was just 1 minute away), authentic Viennese hotel
Close to metro (U6) and Supermarket. Pleasant breakfast. Good for connection for train at Wien Meidling.
We thought the Hotel Riede was extremely good value. Very comfortable large rooms with friendly & obliging staff & it has a lift. Walking distance to Schonbrunn Palace.
We arrived from Poland on an overnight train and got to the hotel at 7.30am. We were met with a smile and our room, booked for that day, when normal check in is 2.00pm, was made available to us immediately. The room was large, spotless, and offered everything we needed for a two night stay. Breakfast provided plenty of choice and quality food. The U bahn station was across the street and central Vienna was therefore easily accessible from the hotel. On departure our host gave us a gift of a bottle of wine from his personal cellar, a nice touch which we appreciated.
Had a short stay in Vienna, the rooms were simple but comfortable and spacious for our big family. The staff was very helpful in explaining parking and travel options in the area, which in general is quite difficult in Vienna. The location was good for us as we wanted to see Schonbrunn, but may not be ideal if you want to explore the city, although there is a metro line right next to the hotel. There is no dinner option in the hotel itself, but lots of simple places to eat accross the street in a small market, and also an interspar shop right accross the road in case you want to go shopping. The building is an old traditional style townhouse, but has lift, so climbing the stairs is optional. There is an option for buffet breakfast, which has some simple choices, but not much "warm" dishes.
- you can only pay with cash - had some issues with wifi which was unusable for a day, maybe due to a storm
Privacy, spacious room. When we checked out, The staff gave us a little gift: either chocolate or wine.
The front desk had "hours", so during the evenings and early mornings, no one was present in the lobby, which led to inconvenience. We had to pay in advance.
Location good due to access to excellent Metro system
Poor wifi in the room we had although we were advised by staff that reception was poor
Everything was really nice in this hotel. The room Is really big, perfect location in front of supermarket Spar and metro. Will come back later there.
Roomy, cleanliness, next undeground station, parking. Owners very nice people ...
The hotel was next to a S-BAHN station which was nice.
I did not like that you had to check in by 2200, which you really have to do because the front desk staff leave at 2200 sharp. This forced me to catch an earlier train in Munich then I wanted to. Also the street can be very loud at all times.
Price, working wifi signal, and charming building interior. The location, just across the street from an U-Bahn station, was quite convenient for travelers arriving from the Wien Meidling train station (1 stop).
The breakfast (10 euros/person) was a bit pricey.
Excelent localization, very kind family, good acommodation, good cleaning and excelent breakfast. If I come back again to Vienna I would like to stay again at Hotel Riede.
we enjoyed everything
The Hotel does not accept Master Card
Close to train station
Just opposite to metro station
