Very comfortable beds. Lovely view ! Nice breakfast!
No bath plug, took 36 hours to obtain one. Bedroom not warm enough in afternoon and early evening.
It's in a very good position. Close to the tram and to the city centre.
The room was clean but there was a smoke's smell. I was really scared about the socket.
The location is good. Place close to tram and metro station. Basic welcome.
Nothing wrong regarding the price.
Location Heating Good powerful shower
No clear window in room, so could not see outside Shower and wash basin were incorporated in my room, with no dividing wall No headboard on bed No digital channels on television
5 mins from Schottentor station and bus station. Good connectivity. Bed and bathroom were clean.
Old refurbished building which is mixed use property (residential /commercial/ hotel). Poor options for breakfast. Lift is a joke. Room was very small compared to photos on booking.com
The room was spacious. The breakfast was good and staff friendly.
The room was a little bit shabby, the shower didn't work properly, it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep very well and the courtains didn't prevent sunlight from getting in in the morning.
* location (15 minutes from St. Stephen's Cathedral) * helpful staff * tasty, reasonable breakfasts * close to the underground
* problems with hot water under the shower * rooms require some restoration, new painting at least * a litte bit loud Horlglasse strasse
Walking distance to metro
Dirty, impossible to go to toilette without waking up others (very old floor), smelling room after humidity, noisy bed (we could count how many times somebody moved over night), bath completely destroyed & we had to repair the shower, still with much care, there was always a lake outside the bathroom where u change yr clothes, no staff after 9pm to help, in general, not at all what u see in picture (by the way, don't make a mistake from the picture; this is not Stefan's church in city center. You need 20 min walk to city center)
Convenient location. We were fortunate to be given a room in the 'annex', so we had a door straight onto the street - not sure that we would have liked to be in the main building.
The directions to get there are not clear on the map, and when we wrote to the hotel twice for directions asking which is the closest metro/tram, they did not reply. It was difficult for strangers to decide whether Schottering or Schottentor was the closest metro.
- position - large space in the rooms and bathroom - posibility of parking the car in front of the pension
- although the room was prepaired, we had to wait until check-in limit (we arrived aprox. 1 hour earlier)
There was a dush kabine in the room, at 1 meter distance from the bed. Never seen before!
only location smiling staff
.no extra mirror in the room .no dustbin in the room .the lift outdated quite dangerous .the corridors unsafe because of shared premises .the most serious was they withdrew the hotel fee from my account without asking me
Great location, staff went above and beyond to help and a spacious room with a spacious closet area.
The shower was finicky. Temperature changed on its own. The height of shower head was not adjustable and was at my waist. Also, I had an inside room and was woken by banging ( maybe construction going on inside the building) and SNORING from someone who was not in my room.
Location. Value for money.
Apartment was old so very noisy when somebody walks specially disturbing at nights.
very large rooms , good location , nice staff
cracking floors old toilets minimal breakfast no a/c very minimal facilities in the room
Location , price, internet
Very central. Wi-Fi excellent. Very cold and good tasting tap water.
A little too much humidity in the rooms. There were no windows in the second room of the appartment, it looks like a tomb.
Great location - 10 ,minutes walk to town with lots of nice cafés/ bars close by. Staff very helpful with parking.
Rooms were very basic - one bed was completely broken, shower was broken and the wooden floors were very noisy to walk on - anyone going to the bathroom during the night woke everyone up each time as they were squeaking.
poor breakfast no restaurants it is a family-run hostel and not hotel
The old Viennese building and the helpfulness of the staff.
Lift not working
Peter was very helpfull. The location is very good!
The room was not so clean, i saw a lot of spiders net, and under the bed full of dust, plastic cops and plastic bottles. The room is very hot if you will go in the summer, bring one ventilator with you. :(
Bathroom new and clean. Super location, 10min walk from Hofburg. metro station is 2 min away
Room should be cleaner and walls painted. furniture could be better. Basic breakfast
I was in Vienna for a conference at the University. Pension Schottentor has all you need. The room is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is just what I needed. I will certainly come back at my next visit to Vienna.
I needed earplugs... :-) but I slept well...
good & very honest pension, clean, helpful staff. Excellent value for money.
1) staff members are always friendly and ready to give help actively; 2) near underground station, a few minutes walk to city centre; 3) clean and tidy 4) easy to connect wifi
