Location was good, easy to go center.
Dirty bathroom, staff is not very helpful.
Really liked the beds in the room, they were really comfy, huge windows with zero noise. Cheap and fair breakfast. Elevator to every room and easy traffic just next to the hotel.
Although I would not call it a hotel. As they didnt have simple equipment of "hotels" in the rooms. No soap, no kettle, no hair drier, no fridge. The towels was changed but the service was just about it, no cleaning or even changing the trashcan.
Close to the city center. Quiet area. Good for young people who need cheep hostel in Vienna.
The bathroom was not clean. The room we had looks like school class with beds. Not cosy at all. Wifi not available in all rooms.
Near to the down-town, cheap.
There were no usable wi-fi or door on the toilet. The bathroom was dirty.
The friendly Breakfast room Staff and the workman who came to try to repair some of the points we had on our grievance list, which were, to say the least numerous! Some were even Dangerous! But I’ll list those in the negatives about Hotel in Hernals.
Where to start????? (No particular order, just as we noted them down) 1) WIFI …. not available unless you are IN the Reception or sat on the stairs in the corridor next to the Reception. 2) POOR VENTILATION .... There were 32 windows in the main area of the room, only 1 was able to be opened and that was at your own risk, as the tilt or open mechanism was faulty meaning that both functions happened simultaneously! The second had had the handle removed preventing its use. 3) LIGHTING .... On our arrival only 1 of 2 ceiling lights worked, leaving the majority of the room dark. -----This was rectified on day 2 4) EMERGENCY PLAN .... On the Emergency Plan there was no EMERGENCY PHONE NUMBER filled in. The space was available but unless you knew the local number you had a problem. ‘999’ wouldn’t have helped you! 5) CUPBOARD HANDLES .... 4 Cupboards doors yet only 2 working handles. 1 was missing another was broken -----This was partially rectified on day 2 6) KETTLE / FRIDGE .... A Kettle or fridge and some other electrical items “are not permitted in the rooms and if found will be confiscated.” 7) HAIR-DRYER .... Whilst ‘available’ and not banned by the hotel, this was only available on request from the reception. 8) SOCKETS BEHIND PILLOWS .... While some electrical items, as mentioned, aren’t allowed, the hotel managed to place a bed DIRECTLY touching a wall socket. -----This we rectified by simply moving the bed. 9) TV .... On our arrival the TV had 3 channels, all music, no remote and a broken antenna. -----This was rectified on day 2 by replacement. 10) RUBBISH BIN .... The pedal on the bin was defective meaning and looked as though it needed a REALLY good clean both inside and out. 11) MYSTERIOUS LIGHTING .... At around 10:20pm the lights in our room decided to switch themselves on and off several times, as if the room was somehow connected to another switch. 12) NOISE ....
location and qualified staff
Bathroom - poorly equipped too much noise (street)
Situated near to center. On weekend parking was free on the little streets.
Wifi only in reception. Floors wasn't clean.
Very good for position, facilites and price
Price and size of the room
Everything is ok.
Very good comfort for this price. House is not cosy, not nice but rooms/bedsheets are clean and smell nutral
The girl at the front desk was very rude.
The toilet quality and cleaning isn't properly, the upper part of the toilet is falling down.
Room was large
Location Very noisy when open window Hot in rooms
close to city center relatively cheap suffcient facilities
the way the building is constructed seems to amplify the sounds coming from the courtyard, so one either had to close the window or suffer noise
Helpful staff close to tram and near a subway station. Price was very good
Room was very hot, because the roof was right above it. Wi-Fi in common areas only, not in the rooms
Big room and bathroom. Nice and helpful staff. Very close to the city, 10 min by Tram.
The receptionist wasnt very nice and helpful
not so much
interior in the room is poor and the there was no remote to switch channels. It's noisy and no so clean
Staff not helpful insufficient cleanliness Spartan conditions Bad value for money
big room, close to tram, free parking on the street
Staff, who talk several languages.
I enjoyed my trip to Vienna, beautiful city, but the only negative part of my travel was residing in this hotel. I never advise anybody to go there, awful building. There is no sign of cleanness.
No fridge, no aircon, miserable tv, far away from the city center, bad equipment, very very noisy because of the street, and so on ...
