staff went out of their way to help me with the accomadtion after a minor problem occured. I would highly recommend staying here :)
Great location - very close to a tram and a 12 minute walk to two different metro lines. One guy at the desk, i think his name was Max, was super helpful and would literally jump out of his chair to answer any and all questions about exploring Vienna.
For men, there is ONE community shower (with like 6-8 shower heads in one big room), but anyone that uses it locks the door, so you always have to wait. For a place this big to have that kind of setup, is ridiculous. And then, in the lobby, there was a single computer for the internet, which is fine, but it is set up with some sort of Linux OS which was a bit of a headache for me.
Only hot water in the shower, ok if you want to burn yourself WiFi not free Not so cheap There's almost nothing (cereals, bread, industrial leaves of cheese and salami, that's it) for breakfast and they still make you pay 5€. Enjoy !!!
Good location close to town center, very inexpensive.
Wifi is pricy, have to pay to rent towels, bathrooms were quite filthy, wet paper towels left on the floor in the bathroom remained there for the three days i stayed...
Friendly staff Located in a nice district Low price
Shabby rooms with old and dark furnitures Noisy (at least if your room is close to the laundry room) Bedlinen and curtains smelled smoke
The staff here were very friendly and helpful.
Location is good, easily to get anywhere. Staffs are great and friendly. The area is not too noisy at night.
The rules of shared bathroom should be more clear, it was very confusing that a guy asked me if I finished using lady's bathroom; also it was not very clean, for example: used condoms and beer cans in bathroom.
10 mins walk to the Ringstrasse and just steps from D tram that will take you to all the sights. If you are looking for the cheapest private room in Vienna this place can be recommended due to a superb location and nice personnel.
Wi-fi is not free and not cheap 5 euro/day, 15/week. So it makes more sense to get a local sim-card and use mobile internet. It gets loud in the inner yard everytime somebody is in there, so beware if your room is facing that side. Showers are somewhat inconvenient. So if comfort is important for you, look for options that cost 10-15 euros more.
It's near the city center, the staff very friendly
Very noisy, doesn't take credit card
It's the best priced for its location.
Share the WC and the bathroom with the whole building is not great but prices are the best for Vienna.
The beds were comfortable enough and the staff was competent. The location is good, there's a tram stop nearby and the subway is some minutes away near the river. There's also a supermarket close by.
It's expensive for what you get and I'm glad we only stayed for one night. It's a housing facility for students that should get some renovations on the rooms, because the wallpaper or whatever that is, was in bad shape. We didn't have any towels in the room, nor soap. The wifi situation is ridiculous. It's 2014 and they're charging for it, but providing 20 minutes of internet for free. There's also a computer next to the reception and you can use it freely. There's one tiny bathroom in each floor, and then there's a separate room for showering. One for boys and one for girls, in different floors. Only 4 people allowed at a time, which is fair, but you don't have doors for the individual showers. If you open the main door to the hall, you'll probably be showing someone's butt to the other people that may be passing by. Yeah, no thank you. Almost €50 for a night is too much for what you get. There's better places to stay in Vienna.
My room was a little bit creepy, old furniture, uncomfortable pillow and bed. You only have 20 minutes of free wifi and the signal is very bad, you have to go to a room downstairs. It was expensive for what it is.
Location and the staff were nice
Dirty rooms, shower stalls were gross, wifi wasn't included, only one communal computer. I stayed one night of 5 I was supposed to stay. Not worth it.
The location is very good. 5 minutes walk from the u-bahn station and opposite an s-bahn station. The neighbourhood has lots of shops and restaurants and a very friendly feel to it. The centre of Vienna is only 5 minutes away. I stayed in a single room with shared facilities. The room was sparse but clean. Toilet in the corridor was also clean. There is a very nice garden for the guests to sit in as well as a tv room. You have to pay for the wifi but it's only 1 euro for an hour (and you get the first 20 minutes for free) Excellent value for money.
Obviously it's a hostel and not very expensive so the comfort level is minimal but it's fine for the price you pay. While the reservation page said that towels were included there were none in the room (not a big problem)
clean, safe area. centrally located even for walking . good ambience, friendly staff. good local pubs try café lassa. excellent spot. drinks and coffee service decent price. . didn't have breakfast
not much. shared showers but that's what you pay for.
Friendly staff, who were helpful, lend me an umbrella when needed and carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs. The location is walking distance out of the old city and accessible by tram.
excellent location, amazing staff, clean
The reception staff were very friendly, I had a lot of questions and they prove to be very patient and helpful. Also, great location, close to the historical center.
Very thin walls, you could hear anything from the hallway.
Excellent front desk staff, they were all very friendly and helpful. Although they seemed to have had trouble with my room (they seem to have given it another guest), I was given free wifi for 24 hours to compensate for the extra 15 minutes I waited for them to sort things out and find me another room. Although I didn't get my ID back during check out (they only asked for it because I didn't have the initial cash to pay for the entire stay) I emailed them immediately and they quickly mailed it back to me.
No one cleaned my room during the entire week, my trash was only cleared once on the 2nd day. The private shower closest to me didn't have hot water. The walls are thin and my room was near the kitchen. If I didn't bring earplugs, I would not have been able to sleep. Only one public computer for internet for the entire 4 floors if you didn't want to pay for wifi. No elevators, which could be a problem if you have a room, like I did, on the 4th floor.
The location is great, very close to the centre and public transport. It's very cheap.
No towels, shower room is a communal affair, so you can see all your fellow travellers of the same sex naked. No lift.
Staff there are really good, though it is only the one advantage of the hotel, and maybe it's destination.
That's was awful! I lived in a private room with shared bathroom. It's not a hotel! It's a hostel! I didn't have even a soap to wash myself! I didn't have a hot water for three nights! They didn't give me a towel! They don't know that there should be a shower gel! Everywhere is dirty. I strictly don t recommend to go there!
the location was nice, near tram and u-bahn stations, I had a garden view and the garden was nice too with some places to sit.
the shared bathroom was small ,dirty and always out of soap. it was shared between maybe more than 8 rooms or so. it felt like going out in street to public wc. there is no free wifi you need to pay based on how long you want to use it and I could not connect to it anyways. the worse thing was that when someone opened water in upper levels, i could hear the water running in the pipes like a load sound all of the sudden.
Closs to the centre.Good personal. Beatiful garden in the hotel
Not very clean shower.
