Small Resturant Small lobby
location, big rooms
no bath room, poor to no wifi
Location is so nice, near Underground and right at the heart of Wien, the price is resonable!
Bathroom is too far from the room.
Breakfast was good
Washrooms too far from room
-perfectly located in the inner city centre -good value for money -good beds
-breakfast: choice & quality -parking in public car park close to hotel
The location was excellent! Right in the city center. The wi-fi was free and available in all rooms. Good speed. The pillows were really soft!
It was a bit noisy during the night. The rooms, but also other parts of the hotel (e.g. breakfast room), need a renovation since they look really old (e.g. curtains, furniture etc...). The room door was quite old and could not be locked from the inside and thus I felt a bit insecure.
late breakfast friendly people at the reception (both to chat and they were very helpful, too) good location
Friendly Staff, big room, it had a sofa bed and we got a baby cot, free and strong WIFI, and the breakfast was great
location, breakfast was good with a decent choice
rooms looked a bit dated and in need of a refresh
the location is good .. close to stephan'platz square.
old.. noizy.. no AC .. needs some renovation. they charge 24 euro for parking per day. and staff need to be friendly. . I dont recommend it.
perfect location for visiting old town sites, catching hydrofoil for day trip to Bratislava, using the underground to visit Schloss Schonbrun & airport bus.
the location is very central and close to many tourist attractions and truly some great restaurants. The superior room was big and very clean, the wifi was great and the breakfast has very nice baked bacon.
1. The staff at front desk was extremely unhelpful, I had a long and tiresome discussion just to get 2 keys to the room. 2. I've asked for a room with two separate beds. while the hotel could let me know that they don't have twin bed rooms, and that would be ok as I could find a different hotel, they assured me that it will be all right. it wasn't. the beds were not meant to be separated and they tried to separate them still, one bed blocked the windows and the other had the night stand behind it (rather than in the side), hard to describe with my limited english but it was uncomfortable. 3. i wouldn't recommend this room for couples as well since the bed is two twin beds rather than one.
Although we had paid for the cheapest room, breakfast was included
The room furniture was a bit old
two showers only for the entire floor? Must be a bit crowded when the hotel is fully booked.
It was a clean place. The sheets didn't stink etc. Also, the price was very good for economic room.
One room didn't have wifi at all so I changed the room. Then I realised, new room had a hair dryer broken..
Decent hotel but no AC so it got a bit toasty, but it is pretty standard for Europe. Make sure you head to Bratislava, fun cheaper city with great character.
very good location - easy to get to, close to main attractions. terrific breakfast and faultless WiFi good restaurant across the road, many more nearby
a lot of outside noise (from nearby restuarnt) when windows open - a fan would help in hot weather
Like the opera house
Firstly, The Post Hotel is very well located. It's just a six-minute walk up to the Cathedral. Secondly, there is a tube station and bus and tram stops at a stone's throw, which is definitely convenient. The staff couldn't be more helpful. The hotel has no parking facilities, so they hire lots from a nearby parking. The receptionist just managed the whole parking thing flawlessly. Our room was big, which is always nice. We just liked it there.
Just like many places in Europe, windows have no blinds. Just bear that in mind if light is an issue for you. As advertised, the rooms have no AC. As Spaniards, we tend to think Austria has mild weather in summer, but the truth is it was very hot when we stayed there. Heat did really interfere with the quality of our stay. Our fault. Perhaps the other bathrooms were just pristine, but we found the previous guest's used soap on the shower wall-mounted shelf, coupled with a few hairs. It didn't gross us out at all, but it wasn't nice either. Don't take me wrong here, the toilet was clean, and the room was too.
Big rooms Classic interior Nice location Quiet Close to metro
A bit old-fashioned
helpful staff, good breakfast
no aircondition and impossible to open window due to street sounds in morning.
Internet Location Staff
Bathroom outside. The rooms are old.
