fairly central and quiet location, about 5-10 minutes walk to get to the center and also to the subway. Staff at reception appeared competent, yet not overwhelmingly friendly. The hotel is to be avoided during summer. It does get quite hot in summer in Vienna, and there is only the sixth floor which has air condition, all the others dont. When we checked in late in the evening into our room on the first floor, the room temperature was unbearably hot, and we were told, sorry no aircon.... but there was by chance a room on the sixth floor and were asked to pay a 40 Euro upgrade. After long discusssions and complaints the next day the upgrade fee was reduced to 10 euros. (even though the room was considerably smaller). I would recommend the hotel for short city visits during spring or fall, if you choose to go in summer, go somewhere else. For conference meetings, the surrounding infrastructure (restaurants, eateries) is not sufficiently convenient.

Only the location is great as in the city center. They charge you the whole amount of money immediately! They re charge you at your arrival 30 Euro for the use of the mini bar!!! No way like you were a beggar!!! They gave me this room which was connected with a door open into another room!! Kidding?? After I complained, they just said : Oh sorry we will lock this door! They did not. The day after, I asked to change room and they offered me to change but paying extra 20 euro to the upper class room. Unbelieveble..Well the worst "hotel" I never stayed in my life but as this was for working I had to cope with...

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is ideally situated for a pleasant stroll through the Rathauspark to the inner city. I would definitely stay here again.

The ambiance, firendly and helpful staff and the food. The bathroom is very poorly designed and very uncomfortable. The sink is very big and occupies more space than the shower cabinet and does not leave room. It was a pity, because, otherwise, the rooms are very convenient

Location is quite good. It's situated not far from Rathaus, but a little bit far from Stephansplatz, Opera, Albertina. 5 min to Hofburg. The breakfast was perfect. I payed for business-class room and for that money I got a standart room. And they didn't change my room according with reservation!!!!! So, I payed more for a small-small room with a small-small bathroom! And they said to me that it was a business-class room!!!! The room was quite good (as in 3 star hotel) but i didn't like the fat that I payed for more for another class of the room.

My husband and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and found the location excellent for getting to the tube station and tram, and a short distance from most of the sight seeing. It was a nice quiet, safe location while still being central.The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the rooms are small, they are clean and comfortable. One does not spend much time in the room when sight seeing anyway. The breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel is located very close to all the attractions in the downtown of Vienna, so we could take a small walk and get to Hofburg palace, Parliament, Graben or Stefansplatz. The staff is great, speaking very good English and is of the great service all the time. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and tidy and hotel is in the very quiet area, so you can sleep in the morning like you are in the countryside. Breakfast in the hotel was very tasty and there were plenty different food offered, as per everybody's taste. The only thing I did not like was the fact that they do not have slippers in the room.

The location is perfect for visiting on foot the "Old Inner City of Vienna" plus all of the normal tourist sites, Museums, Opra House, Parliament etc. If required the excellent public transport system in Vienna is only a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient and only too pleased to assist with any queries you may have regarding the hotel facilities or the tourist sites of Vienna. The buffet breakfast appealed to all tastes with fruit juice, coffee, tea, cereals, joghurt, cold meats, cheeses, bacon and scambled egg, all types of breads, cakes, fruit, all of which was beautifully prepared and presented. The staff in the breakfast room were particularly attentive clearing away used plates and cutlery and ensuring all the different selections were available at all times.
