Really enjoyed our stay. Location was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and breakfast was excellent. My boyfriend woke up really sick the morning we were meant to leave- had to change our flights and stay, everyone was very helpful and understanding, really great. Thank you!
We enjoyed the room and the cleanliness of the room and the hotel. The location is the main key.
Same food at breakfast every day.
staff not very pleasant breakfast could have been better
The service was excellent, the receptionists were all very polite and helpful. The restaurant was excellent.
The air conditioner had problems in my room and it was impossible to be mend during my stay there. Consequently there was a low temperature, not on my taste. At my complains, I received an electric heater which made a lot of noise. Otherwise it was warm afterwards. There were two days when coming around 9,30 for breakfast there were few things left for eating (especially the cookies and sweet meats were lacking and some sorts of cheese were in smaller quantities). I should have liked to have some smoked fish too for breakfast (like at Hotel de France in Vienna or Hotel Panhaus in Semmering for instance).
Location is great, hotel rich with tradition, room beautiful...nothing to complain really.
Everything was just perfect, the location was within walking distance to most major sites and tourist attractions. Walking distance to shops. Loads of cafes within easy reach and the U bahn was again a 5 min walk. The hotel was so clean the staff were so friendly and the Breakfast had everything and more on offer. Could not fault it in anyway. It was lit up for Christmas and it looked so romantic with the trees in front and the lights just perfect. We would defiantly go again.
The only thing would be lack of pillows, but asked for more and when we got back that evening they were there.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Good breakfast with wide choice of hot and cold food from buffet. Room was well-furnished.
The location good staff Good wifi
Old system for main door and room doors and carpet. small room.
We were in Wien for our honeymoon trip. So when we booked hotel we mentioned this in the letter. And we were very surprised when we received very and very nice, spacious corner room with the exceptional view on the cathedral and the square. Moreover we received a compliment in our room: delisious Franz Josef Cake - the invention and the honor of the hotel. Thank you very and very much! Plus to this breakfast was good and they have tasty food for dinner in their restaurant. Here are always a lot of taxi drivers at the front of the hotel so you do not need to arrange your taxi in advance. Also here was very interesting interior in the lobby and corridors and in our room.
Only two things and only concerning waiters in the restaurant: 1) we decided to order a dinner in their restaurant the first night (we ordered it to be delivered to our room) and here was some mess with our order beacuse the girl who kept it was sleepy I think (she didn't ask our room number, forgot the size of the drink we ordered etc.). Nevertheless finally we had very tasty food and very romantic and domestic the same time dinner so as there was a special place for small dinner in our room. :) 2) There was not very hospitable lady in the restaurant during breakfasts (she never smiled us and asked for our room number - standard procedure in hotels - with the tone of voice like we are prisoners).
Apart from everything else, they arrange parking at Votivpark garage for half the commercial price. Such a selling point, understated for sure. Love the breakfast in the old style glamour breakfast with large front windows.
Good service and friendly.
We had a great stay here, everything you'd want and a lovely outlook from the hotel to a park and spectacular church. Great location to see and do everything you want.
one room (106 or 109?) is so small that one of your guests got claustrophobia; it is also far too dark
The location close to the metro and surrounded facing onto a park and beautiful church gave rooms a good outlook. It was handy for the centre, museums and historic areas without being on top of the tourist spots. the hotel were willing to advise on activities and able to book as required. All in all very good value.
Helpfulness of staff
Beds not comfortable
The location and the breakfast.
The breakfast coffee was horrible.
At 11:20 pm, we were not allowed to start to have a drink in the restaurant/bar, while business hours were till 12:00 pm.
Location stuff food are v.good
Nothing . Every thing was V good
Very near to center of Wien. Breakfast was good. Price was reasonable.
breakfast staff - really very kindness
my room on 4th floor was small
Location friendly staff architecture
Breakfasts menu could have been improved
The service and attitude of the employees at the desk was great! They went out of their way to help. And they are obviously on top of everything-- I stayed 6 nights/7 days. On the afternoon of the 6th day, I found an envelope on the bureau-- I thought I was getting the bill early-- instead, a note wishing me a Happy Birthday, a thanks for spending my birthday with them, and underneath I then noticed the lovely cake they had left! I asked later if one of my friends had called and arranged-- but no, apparently someone noticed on the form I filled in (with passport info and date of birth) and realized I would still be there 6 days later! That's better than some of my own family!!
The breakfast room was pretty chaotic and the service was not as excellent as everything else (it was just satisfactory).
Food was excellent. Stuff was wery friendly. Hotel is situated practically in the city centre near the beautiful Votive church. When you come for breakfast, coffe is already on a table in especial pot. wery comfortable!
Walls are thin, you can here every sound from the neighbouring room. Internet is slow, and you need especial password for every device.
this old Viennese style.
as 4* hotel, didn't offer sleepers and the WiFi was not always worked, especially with the cellulaire. Also some times when they changed the towels I found hair on them. Must were something on their heads the women. Also in the breakfast after 9.30, if anything was finished they didn't refilled.
