    1. Wonderful Deal only if you managed to secure it early (with free WiFi and Breakfast). 2. Really close to Metro (U4), one stop away from Längenfeldgasse (U4 & U6), where you take the U6 to both Wien Meidling & Westbahnhof for rails. 3. Staff are friendly and caring. 4. Marriott standard breakfast which is excellent, as usual. 5. Fitness Centre & Pool are available.

    1. WiFi access limited to single device, even for double room, which does not make sense. 2. No tea/coffee making facilities. 3. Bathrobe not available at Pool area (Note: Towels are available). 4. Pool is suitable for taking a dip/relaxation, not for serious swimmers.

Every staff member at this hotel was excellent; always friendly and willing to help. The U-Bahn/Metro station, literally minutes from the hotel's front door, made getting around Vienna extremely easy.

    The gym was small.

Breakfast, late afternoon respites in the lobby bar after site seeing, evening dinner at Orangerie (beef carpaccio!), pool, and ease of travel to city sites. This was our second stay at this hotel (Dec 2009)' and hope to come back again.

Wished we could have stayed longer.

ladies and gentlemen ! don't waste your time (or money for that matter...), this hotel is a keeper ! great location (5 meters from the subway),and 15 minuts walk from the schonbrunn palace,a great way to digest their excellent breakfast (and great coffee !) the staff was very friendly.helpful and fluent in english. even during breakfast they wouldn't leave us alone and hovered around like busy bees trying to fulfill our wishes. rooms were very clean and cozy and in general the hotel had good ambiance. tell you the truth...when i heard from the wife how much we were paying for the room i stood with my mouth open ! i don't know how the hell they make a living...! because back home you couldn't afford a leaking shack for that amount. you won't be sorry ! ilan.

Easy access to public metro station.

Even the smallest hotels provide free wi-fi, complimentary bottled water and in-room tea/coffee making facilities - Renaissance Wien offered NONE of the above.

I have styed at this hotel approximately 10 times before. This time the staff did not behave appropriate, if it would have been my first time at the hotel for sure there would not have been a second time. 1.At our arrival at the reception was a trainee, it took her about half an hour to check us in. She was unable to use the credit cards, to give correct and complete information about parking and internet. The amount texted by the bank was higher than the one contracted through booking com, when I asked she told me that this was normal, she had this situation before and it is due to "taxes". I agree that we all had to know at some point but not on the clients nerves and time. A skilled person should have been present at her side, which was not the case. 2. In the restaurant, on the last day when we needed to leave early we got there when it started, but we had to wait more than 10 minutes for the cook to come for the omelets, when she still pointed out she needs a few minutes. To my knowledge they have to be there for the clients, waiting to serve you and not vice versa. Something has changed at this hotel and not to its favor!!

There were two excellent staff members - American guy behind the bar who was really helpful and one great guy on reception staff - Hans- who helped us book a running tour which was brilliant!

Was in an area that had nothing really around it so you needed to travel to eat out. Wifi was expensive(16 euros) - which I find unbelievable this day and age. no tea/ coffee facilities in the room and pot of tea was 8 euros! Though the room rate was reasonable - everything else was really expensive - and hotel, though clean - is in need of updating / redecorating - very tired looking - I was surprised & disappointed as have stayed in amazing renaissance hotels around the world! Would not recommend
