Nothing, because I was charged twice for the room and the reason provided at the Reception was that I would get back money for reservation in 2 or 3 days. I checked out on 16 Aug., but still no money returned to my bank account. Please investigate. When booking the room I paid with a bank card and got confirmation from the hotel that payment had been received. When checked out, the Receptionist asked to pay the same sum again. She assured me that reservation money woul be returned in 2 or 3 days to my account. Since Aug.16 no money returned. I require investigation and money return.

Nothing really. The location is not bad. My room was actually filthy. I arrived late and didn't have the energy to look for another hotel. The carpet by the bed was dirt filled and the room had a sickly sweet smell about it, like glue giving off gasses. It was not pretty. There are other hotels nearby with comparable prices. Since I was charged an extra night when I broke my reservation, I'm happy to write this review and warn people away.

This hotel is an acquired taste. It is not in a good location, but it is on the #2 tram which takes you everywhere in vienna. Also, you can easily walk to the ring road and good eating and shopping This hotel has seen better days. But if you are looking for super value and not so bad a hotel, this is the place.

Average/good breakfast, a nice apartment (we were 3 people, so we didn't have a normal hotel room), they kept our luggage after check-out so that we could enjoy Vienna some more; only a few minutes walk from the Taborstrasse U-bahn station. No elevator after 2nd floor (we were on the 4th), even if we knew that from booking, so it was not a surprise; the staff isn't always very friendly; they don't let you check in before 2pm, they don't even check if the room is ready yet (it often happens that the room was empty the night before and so it's ready even if you get to the hotel before check in time); no hairdryer in the apartment; curtains are very thin, no way to sleep after sunrise.

Location is good, close to city center The newly expanded guest accommodation base tends to deteriorate the hotel's overall capacity of enhancing the Wien visiting experience as the newly added rooms although well equipped inside do not enjoy a decent window view and are separated from the main hotel body by an unrestored hallways that just doesn't fit in the picture

The staff was courteous and helpful. We had to leave early for a tour and they started breakfast early for us. There was no clock or phone in the apartmetns. We didn't bring our cells with us so we had no way to set an alarm.

Close to underground station. Nice breakfasts. There could have been Internet for that price - but there isn't. The room colud have been a bit cleaner - but it isn't. I've never traveled som much "up and down" to get to the room from the entrance. Resume: it is a 3 (three) star hotel. Could have been and should have been a bit cheaper than it was (we visited it in April '11).

The location is good, in the central and near the U2 underground train system which basically means you can reach to any destinations in Vienna. The room is cosy and well equiped. The staffs are friendly. The breakfast was poor, the coffee was bad, especially the yoghurt was very bad. It seemed like they re-used the old food from previous days. In our room, the mattress of the bed was very soft and we could not have a nice sleep. There is no internet in the room, which was a little bit incovenient for us that we need to go to the lobby downstair. This hotel is reasonable for the price we paid.

The hotel was close to the metro station and also there was a tram stop in front of the hotel. The hotel had a special luggage space to leave luggage before check in and after check out. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. There were many brochures with information about Vienna tours and other useful information. The most of the reception was not very nice. It was ok.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Location was convenient to tram and metro (only a few hundred meters away). Breakfast was good. Shower did not drain properly and threatened to flood bath unless great care was taken. Hallway where rooms 1001-1006 were was noisy and cigarette smoke in it easily entered our room.

The hotel was rather close to the city-centre. For the 1st time we didn't take an attention, that tram № 2 went directly to the centre :)) U-Bahn is very close. Like a tram too. In a one stop from Taborstrasse- stop (U-Bahn) is Wien Praterstern-stop, where you can get to the Airport or somewhere else from. Very conveniently. Wide enough choice for the breakfast. Free Internet ( wi-fi at lobby, cable at the room). There is luggage storage. We didn't use it but this is an advantage. Very friendly staff. And speaking english very good. ( I speak German, but worse than English). 2 days before our departure a new McCoffee was opened. It works till 23-00. Thought there are many cafes (including different kitchens) around the hotel. "Billa" shop is facing to the hotel (works till 19). There are some shops, like specific fashion, "everything is 1 euro" ....etc.. In general, our stay in this hotel has left pleasant impressions. Put "Good" for comfort, as there were just 2 night lamps in the room and no refrigerator. So there was a little bit dark in the room and we put our meal on the window sill for cooling ( we came in winter). Our windows have gone to Taborstrasse, this street is very popular, including tram. So, we were enjoying :) the noise every night, but! As we have walked all the day, we were so tired, that this noise hasn't irritated us. I think the rooms, whose windows go to the inner hof, have no this problem.

“The room was spotless and met all of our requirements. The bathroom was spacious and practical. The room overlooked a four lane carriageway with a railway system within view, but once the windows were shut noise levels were not disruptive. Hotel staff were helpful in all respects.” Ian, Stornoway |
