The Hotel Stefanihof is the ideal starting point for trips to Salzburg and the lovely spa town of Bad Ischl. Fuschl’s new Fuschlseebad Beach and Sports Club is the ideal place to relax. Entry to the club is free for hotel guests.

In winter enjoy the nearby ski area of Gaissau Hintersee, and in summer the lake and the beautiful surrounding countryside boast a whole host of free recreational activities, with walks and hikes through breathtaking countryside.

The Hotel Stefanihof is a particularly nice vacation destination for families. Your children can play in the hotel’s play corner or safely on the hotel’s lawn.

Seminars and training courses can also be held. In addition to our excellently equipped seminar room you can look forward to an interesting and varied recreation offer thanks to the wide range of sports activities available in and around the village of Fuschl am See.

Food & beverage

The cozy Austrian restaurant and beer garden offer a variety of food and drinks.

The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm. The traditional spare-rib evening with live music is particularly popular and takes place every Thursday.

Area information

The holiday village of Fuschl am See lies at 2198 ft above sea level and has a population of around 1,300. This idyllic village is just 12 miles from the Mozart City of Salzburg and about 20 miles from the charming spa town of Bad Ischl.

Fuschl am See offers a wide range of recreational activities and cultural sights in both summer and winter. The local buses run regularly and stop right outside the hotel. The lakeside promenade is just a short walk from the hotel offering a spectacular view of the entire lake and of the surrounding mountain panorama: Enjoy the magnificent sunsets from your balcony.

The lake is between the villages of Hof bei Salzburg and Fuschl am See. The water is fantastically clean, crystal clear and boasts drinking water quality. The 7 miles of shores surrounding the lake are unspoiled and there are numerous public beaches and secluded bays, ideal for swimming.

In addition to hiking and cycling you can also relax by renting a boat.

To round off the perfect family vacation the summer sled run is open daily (weather permitting), farms can be visited and upon request the staff can also offer guided nature walks for the whole family.
