Hotel Restaurant Traube  

I have been traveling Europe for years and this is, without a doubt, the most wonderful place that I have ever stayed. The rooms, while not giant, are ample for two (bath is a bit tight, but workable) the bed very comfortable and fully king it seems. But the true beauty of the place is the views, from the rooms through the wall sized door/window out onto a generous balcony which overlooks the most fabulous valley (the hotel is at least 1000 feet above the valley) and Lake Constance. The food at the restaurant is superb, staff wonderful. This is a "must"stay. I did not find it overpriced for my Wednesday night stay, but a bit lower than the Italian hotels that I had come from.

As an American, the drive up was a bit intimidating at an 18% grade, but Europeans should have no trouble with it. And yes, the parking could be problematic, but the walk from the Church parking lot at 200m is not a big deal.

Verry good and kind staff, they are helpfull if you want any service outside the hotel and try to treat you as well known frind rather than customer.

Beautiful landscape, spacious room, superb breakfast

Bit overpriced. I payed 120euro per night at a country hotel located far from the civilzation.

Location is nice, beautiful view.

The rooms are old fashioned. We found it overprized for what you get.

Excelent place to have a weekend with couple. The free internet is helpfull. The only thing is that you need a car to stay. Lovely place and view.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Kleines familiengeführtes haus auf sehr hohem niveau in atemberaubender lage und sehr guter küche. Für ein wochenende aber auch für länger wirklich zu empfehlen

Ausblick ist erstklassig. Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Restaurant ist absolute Spitzenklasse.

Aussicht / Panorama auf Dornbirn, geschmackvolle Zimmereinrichtung, sauberes Bad, umfangreiches Frühstück wird auf schön gedeckten Tischen serviert (!), Eier wunschgemäß frisch gekocht etc., herrliche Aussicht aus dem Frühstücksraum ebenso Panoramablick wie aus den Zimmern. Im Hotel kann man auch Abendessen a la Carte, dies hat Haubencharakter und für 2 Personen sind dafür etwa € 100.- zu planen. Im Gasthof Krone schräg gegenüber isst man aber auch sehr gut.

Die Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Haus sind nicht üppig allerdings knapp 50m weiter mitten im Ort kein Problem.

Die Zimmer sind gross und komfortabel, der Ausblick ist wunderschön, sowohl tags als auch bei Dunkelheit. Das Hotel hat nur acht Zimmer. Keine Lärmbelästigung. Das Frühstück wird vom Chef selbst serviert, reichhaltig und lecker. Das Essen im Restaurant wird hohen Anspruechen gerecht.

Die Verbindung zum Internet funktionierte nur schlecht oder gar nicht.
