Any extra bedding is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.
Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

The hotel was modest. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable ---not sumptuous. The restaurant was excellent. We had the best meal of our stay in Europe at this hotel. This included meals we had in Munich, Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague. |

Located in the center of Melk, a short walk to the Abbey. Friendly, accomodating staff and excellent restaurant. Best breakfast on our month-long vacation and an excellent Comfortab lunch and dinner as well.le room with bath. Our room was upstairs then down some long hallways, up more stairs then more long halls; kind of a labyrinth. No big deal though, I would definitely stay there again. |

The hotel was okay. The breakfast was pretty good. The neighborhood was quiet. The staff at the retaurant was quite friendly. The only concern was the price -- a bit too expensive. The price was expensive comparing to the other options (like B&B) in the same city -- the room was twice expensive but there was no double value. |

Location, the view of the Abbey was great, the food was excellent and the staff and waitress were excellent. I would highly recommend to everyone, we had another couple with us, we all agreed that our dinner there was one of the best during our two week trip including Vienna. |

The location in town was very good. The room size was very good. There was no air-conditioning and no window screens. When you open the windows to get some cool air, there were many mosquitoes that bit all night long keeping you up. |

We very much enjoyed staying there and dining in the patio area and being able to go up to our room. Convenient and easy. The staff was very helpful. The meals were good and the room was comforatble. It is a good place to stay if you are visiting Melk Abbey. |

Relaxed hotel, friendly staff, many of whom had some English, quite good choice of breakfast food and evening meals, good choice of indoor and outdoor eating spaces in the hotel, good sized room, located in pleasant small town with spectacular Abbey above it. Our room was rather dark as it had only a small window and the lighting not very bright. Bathroom a bit dated and not enough hooks to hang things on in it! |

The room was very comfortable, the location was perfect for visiting the Abbey and the rest of the town, and the Donau. Breakfast was varied and ample. Reception staff when we checked in were pleasanyt and very helpful (can't say the same for the checkout!) Some of the staff seemed to view their guests as an imposition - but not all. Price is too expensive for what you get, but I guess at Melk they can charge what they like! |

The hotel was convenient to taking a boat ride to Krems and seeing the beautiful countryside. There was a restaurant in the hotel with good food, and the room was clean and quiet. It had the Abbey in town and was in a beautiful location for traveling thru the Austrian countryside. |

Location was nice. Melk is a cute little city on the Danube. There was no one around when we checked out. No washclothes in the rooms. We came from a really nice hotel in Salzburg, so were a bit spoiled coming in. |
