Romantik Hotel Richard Löwenherz is surrounded by medieval convent walls and decorated with works of art from the region.

The wonderful location, the romantic terrace restaurant overlooking the Danube, the extensive, dreamlike convent garden with its heated swimming pool, and the open fireplace give the hotel its unique character.

The award-winning gourmet restaurant serves a wide range of traditional and innovative culinary delicacies, as well as a selection of excellent wines from local, Austrian and international vineyards.

Stretching between Melk and Krems, it is the most famous part of the Danube and offers a wide range of sports and leisure opportunities. In summer the Danube features beautiful beaches and high-quality waters for a cool swim.

Sufficient parking spaces are available in the 2 courtyards. Guests are permitted to drive through the pedestrian area to access the hotel at any time. You can always use the parking spaces in the front of the hotel. The gate leading to the courtyards is closed at night (10 p.m. to 8 a.m.).

Sie fragte mich immerzu, wie ich auf dieses Hotel gekommen sei. Als ich sie nach dem Nachmittag am Kloster- Swimming pool fragte, ob sie mit mir frühstücken wolle, sagte sie ja! Keine Beschwerde! Ich bin Asthmatiker. Ich habe in allen Hotels auf dieser schönen Erde Probleme, wegen der vielenTextilien. Es ist die Hausstaubmilbe, die mir sosehr zusetzt. Die Lage ist gut und zentral. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Abendessen und das Frühstücksbuffet waren der Hotelklasse gut angepasst.
