Hotel Rosenvilla  

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and really made our surprise birthday trip with all of their attention to detail. The room was large and spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom excellent. Breakfast was superb and well worth the money, and the location outside the city centre is no problem as it's easily walkable (15 minutes along the river) or 5 minutes by bus. I would return to this hotel without hesitation.

Breakfast is excelent.

Too many steps to reach the room(no lift). No room service. Even though I had breakfast included in my reservation, during the check out they wanted to charge me, but I did not pay.

Certainly the breakfast, seldom I have seen such a choice ! Also the bed was very good and the people were friendly. I will certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was in a reasonable location 15 minutes walk from the centre of Salzburg. The rooms were well appointed, the variety of classical CDs available was a plus and the bath, the largest that I have ever relaxed in !! The highlight was the unbelievable breakfast - the widest variety of Jams, and a stunning selection of meats, cheeses and other condiments

Friendly staff during check in The room was well equipped with Internet access also and there were great products in the bathroom. The breakfast was outstanding! The hotel is a short but pleasurable walk in to town (10-15min) along the Salzach River.

Staff were incredible and cheerie. Always service with a smile. We also got an upgrade to the junior suite which was just wonderful. My wife's glasses broke and they even managed to help us get it fixed all with a smile. They also help with our tours. The breakfast was good value for money. The dining hall cozy and nice.

Slight walking distance from the centre of town.

The young ladies that did everthing were the best....this was the best hotel of the 5 that we stayed in on our trip. Well priced and the breakfast was great!

great hotel and amazing breakfast!!

Beatiful family run bed and breakfast. They thought of everything, from the employees traditional uniforms to the collection of dvds available in your room. The bathrooms were incredible and unique. Very modern, but felt comfortable abd holmy at the same time. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful suite,free parking,Internet in room. Delicious breakfast,also close to a fun restaurant/pub. VERY accommodating staff.

The traffic in Salzburg is crazy,it was a bit far from the old town.next time we will stay right in the old town. Love hotel rosenvilla.it was one of our favorite hotels of our trip.

Breakfast is very nice

The rooms were outstanding and the staff were extremely helpful. WHile close to the old center of Salzburg, the location is very quiet and the grounds are beautiful.

The Hotel Rosenvilla was wonderful as a comfortable and spacious, even luxurious place to stay while visiting Salzburg, although its location was just outside the city proper and therefore either ground transportation or serious walking would be needed. There was plenty of space in the room, it was well furnished, and the staff were very kind. It was among highlights of our trip, notwithstanding that there were some smaller details or wrinkles, such as a lack of towels left in the room after onsite housekeeping had gone home, which required calls although linens were delivered and the issue resolved. We would probably stay again nevertheless!

Excellent breakfast, location and simply the best bed. Large rooms. Beautiful design. Cozy.

Poor wifi. Staff seemed overworked. Not knowledgable about Festivals or tours.

The staff at the hotel was incredibly welcoming. We arrive and were able to park our car with no problems in their lot. The young lady at the reception desk gave us great directions to walk into the city (about 20 minutes from the hotel) and pointed out all the key sights on a map. Our room was beautiful -- really a great visit.

We loved everything about this hotel! Beautiful room with a balcony that included a table, chairs, and an umbrella. Spotless bathroom. Incredible breakfast buffet, and friendly and caring staff. Convenient to old town Salzburg.

The staff were absolutely charming and we were upgraded to a suite. The other outstanding feature is unquestionably the breakfast: I have never had such a refined breakfast, not even in 5 star hotels! If the Michelin were to award stars for breakfast, the Rosenvilla would certainly have a star.

Some minordecorative details are of questionable taste, which could easily be corrected.

The hotel was great, a very clean and comfort room, very friendly staff. The hotel has private free parking, only 4 bus stops and you are in the heart of Salzburg old city. Remember to purchase the bus tickets for 24/48 hours at the hotel reception, it will cost much more when buying the ticket on the bus.

The breakfast is overpriced, we preffered to have have it in the city.
