Upon arrival we been greet from the hostess ar the reception asking if we need anything immidiate after the long trip. She give us all the information for our stay and she inform us that we been upgrade to the hotel suite. This was an unexpected great news!! the suite was awsome!! by the wat Breakfast are amazing!!
unfortunatly there arent dinner facility in the hotel, the last day we were to lazy to go out after all day around Salzburg..
Best breakfast I've had in a hotel Comfortable and spacious room with an actual double bed. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I liked everything! All details. The service is attention of the owner, the room, the excellent breakfast. Were very helpful and responded very well.
Wrong information in the Booking on location.
we were given the Exclusive Room, it was very spacious, and luxurious, the staff were extremely helpful. We had absolutely evrything we needed
there wasn't anything to dislike!
We booked the garden apartman and it was so lovely, tastefully decorated, lot of space for clothes, luggages, and fully equipped kitchen. Heating was excellent. The behavior of the staff was superb, receptionists were extremely kind and helpful, they were ready to help us with arranging an unexpected issue with a local program organizer and helped us to claim our money back, which we appreciate very much! The location is very convenient, we can buy bus tickets at the hotel and with bus no7, we were at the centrum within 5-10 min. Charming house, I really recommend it!
It would be a nice touch to have wifi connection also at the apartman, but we expected this as they clearly sign it at booking, so it was not a surprise.
Excellent Position, Excellent Service Beautiful Staff Super Super Breackfast
hotel was quiet very comfortable friendly helpful staff 20 minute walk to the Old Town great breakfast selection
Everything they had was reminiscent of an early 1900s style Victorian era home with lots of charming appeal. We stayed in the Exclusiv room which to me was one of the best on the property with a nice little balcony.
Walking my suitcase up the steps- no elevator.
Stephanie was like Wonder Woman - she checked us in, carried our luggage, made us terrific eggs for breakfast, provided local transportation directions and bus tickets and seemed genuinely happy to help us. We were given a large, comfortable room with Mozart CD's ready to play, and convenient parking right in front. Breakfast was great with a large selection of treats in a nice room - we had an overall awesome experience at the Rosenvilla, and we would definitely stay again.
I couldn't get Wi-Fi in the room, but I was able to connect when I went to the lobby. This was mildly inconvenient as it was late (after 11pm) and I was already settled in when I realized I needed to go back downstairs to connect.
Everyone at Hotel Rosenvilla was very friendly, they explain bus stations, make reservations for you, anything you need. We liked this hotel because it was a little of the traveled path. It's a quick 20 minute walk into old town, there's a gas station around the corner where you can get snacks and cheap breakfast and an S station just up the hill to get there from the main train station.
Was really nice time in a big room (ground floor, room2) The bathroom was new and really pleasant. Personal nice. Just 10min walk to be in the city. I recommend as if I have to go again in Salzburg I will choose this hotel again!!!
Poor wifi quality...but still works.
Best breakfast in 3 weeks of travel. Convenient to city bus. Excellent staff
Clean and comfortable room; they were kind and gave us an upgrade. Breakfast is wonderful!
Staff very helpful & wonderful breakfasts Suite was wonderful Very comfortable bed Excellent WI FI Next to bus stop for public transport. the route no 7 went straight into town
The hotel does not serve evening meals but as we usually like to eat out, this was not a problem except night we arrived was in torrential thunder storm so headed for nearest pub.
The host is helpful and kind, the style of the room is warm and comfortable. It would be even better if the young host can be my girlfriend.
Extremely friendly staff + excellent breakfast (don't miss it)
The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding and the staff even better. They went out if their way to help with whatever was needed in a very friendly manner. Great homey atmosphere the minute you walk in. The manager,Steffi, helped me change a car reservation which took about 45 minutes and 7 phone calls thanks to Avis' wonderful system. She was patient and helpful throughout the process and always had a smile. I hope to go back.
This is my second stay and as usual the breakfast is the best with meats, cereals, fruit, cheese, splendid coffee, etc. The bus is very easy to take into the old town (ask hotel staff which one) especially with cheap 3.20EU/day bus pass.
Nothing...I will always stay here when in Salzburg.
Breakfast was good but not included in room rate and expensive, location is walking distance to old city
No air condition, Limited tv channels on tv
Very helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast.
Very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable bed, great bathroom
Breakfast was good but expensive
The staff are very pleasant & helpful & the breakfast was exceptional lots of choice.
Fans in the room would be a good idea.
The hotel is convenient for access on foot to Salzburg centre, being situated in a quiet street on the edge of town. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant there is a Chinese on the other side of the road, and a another, the Steinlechner, a couple of minutes walk away. We used this on every one of our four nights stay, enjoying the pub atmosphere and good food. The breakfast at the Rosenvilla was a typically "German" buffet and excellent - for example I counted eleven types of honey - but ordering a soft boiled egg seemed fraught with problems, as on the first occasion only one of the two ordered was served, and on the second occasion the wait was interminable. But that is a very small gripe. The all girl staff were delightful and efficient (apart from boiling eggs!), all English speaking, and the room large, with a good bed and pillows. There was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel and we would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to others.
Great breakfast buffet and friendly staff made us feel totally at home
