Hotel Royal  

This hotel is in superb location, room are very nice, clean, and large compared with other hotels in Europe. Srevices including the front desk are excellent, breakfast is excellent. We will defenitely look forward to stay again at this hotel !

WiFi is weak. The television we had was rather small.

Location is perfect, room was small but ok, furniture is a bit old. I would say it is a good 3* hotel, not 4*... Very good noise protection, delicious restaurant on the 10 floor. Breakfast was ok. Good value for money.

They do not allow to use iron due to fire protection reasons and remove it without any notification.

Excellent location, very convenient for sightseeing, the standard rooms are large, the staff is helpful.

large room is comfortable, 2 chair, 2 table and1 sofa is perfect, clean, silent, in the middle of the center, its close to shuttle from airport and its very close to underground, breakfeast is very nice and the same place going to be changed a famous restaurant at dinner time, you can see pictures in the enterance. there is a Turkish man works many years at the hotel, in the loby you can use free internet and print, reception staff is very friendly, I feel nice at this hotel. This is my second visiti to Vienna, my firs hotel was nice but this hotel more nice than that. If I visit again to Vienna, I will stay again at this hotel and I can recommend to everyone.

Fantastic location, great breakfast! Spacious room with baby cot, which is important if you travel with young child.

Very bad feather pillows, they are so thin like there is no pillow at all.

The restaurant of the hotel was really expensive and the pillows on beds were very uncomfortable.

The staff at the reception was great and very friendly. Room was clean and spacious.. The location was the best.

overpriced for quality of room. terrible small outdated 12" TV with bad reception and only 1 english speaking channel (CNN) small soaps for shower and had to ask to replenish. no fan in bathroom.

Everything! Great helpful multi-lingual staff, large clean room with loads of clothes hanging space, comfortable bed, sensible heating, excellent breakfast (quantity and choice), and just a 100m stroll to Stephendom or the UG.

Very comfortable location and pleasant hotel's staff.

A very central location off Stephanplatz with only a short walk to the Hofburg Palace and close to the U-bahn. The room was a good size. The bed, however, was a bit firm for my husband's liking. Breakfast choice was excellent.

The last night/early morning before our departure was horrendous. A fuel tanker pulled up outside the hotel at 5 a.m. and had its engine running constantly until 7 a.m. Then at 6 a.m. the refuse lorry turned up to empty the street bins, also making a lot of noise.

Central location: The hotel is right in the pedestrian precinct with extremely good links to transport networks. The staff were very helpful and any contact prior to the trip was quickly returned by the hotel staff. The breakfast is very good with a bottomless supply of strong coffee!! Each room has a radio box on the wall.

I disliked nothing about the hotel.

could not have a better location !. Easy walk to most tourist sites . helpful staff . clean comfortable rooms.
