Close to train station.
Great location near centre of town & train station. Very friendly & helpful staff. Clean & comfortable room. What more can you ask for?
Location-2mins from the railway station.
There was 3of us. When i reserved a room i asked for 3single beds, and they menaged. Bath they gave us a bathroom all in glass, also the toilet. Not having mentioned anything on the website. They did not want to change the room. The restaurant menager-i guess, because dressed differently then all the staff. The lady was very rude. Reception-very helpfull,as i need some information that eere given only in austrian. Hotel is historical, dont recommand to the young people!
All in all the hotel offered a very nice stay. Clean rooms, very good breakfast. The small sauna and the steambath were on everyday from 17:00 to 20:00, wich was nice.
The WiFi was not very reliable and working only in some parts of the room. I don't know if this applies to all of the rooms, but I do not recommend this hotel if you are not comfortable with your travelling companions seeing you take a shower. Well I guess the showers separated from rooms with see-through glass are quite trendy nowadays...
It looked cool...
I was traveling with my two teenage children. It was funny for all of us to shower in a glass shower in our room. We are laid back so it definitely went down as a memory maker!
Central location, free and good Wi-Fi Rich Breakfast a
The heating was extremely high, bed is not comfortable at all. Furnitures are essential and pretty old.
Kitchen staff is great!
Front desk staff are not kind. Looked like they were doing a favor. The hotel is too noisy!
The rooms were clean and the location was useful to reach everything.
The rooms smelt of smoke especially in the evening and throughout the night. Smoke came up from bar area and under the doors . If you don't smoke don't stay here, infact Austria is a smoke happy place
Good traditional Austrian food and very friendly efficient staff in Restaurant. Very pleasant staff in Hotel. Good, functional, no frills, business hotel.
Somewhat charmless room. But really no complaints
- location (near from the central train station and) - staff - restaurant of the hotel (they got us a last minute reservation for dinner at the Christmas night - after some insistence from us...) - comfortable, quiet and clean room - breakfast (should have a little more variety, but it was good) - point of stop for the free ski bus
- wifi should be better
Excellent location for train travellers, 5 min walk from the station. We got a room on the 5th floor with excellent view for the mountains, large room, comfortable bed, good free wifi connection. delecious breakfast with many options. Friendly staff
The hotel location is good. The breakfast and room service was acceptable.
The internet speed was very low either internet signal was very weak. I could not check my personal and official e-mails. The staff behavior was fair which was out of my exception to compare with others hotels staff in Europe area.
Great location for pedestrian travel to downtown and the train station. Restaurant located in the hotel had high quality, but affordable meals. Room was large and very comfortable.
No complaints but only stayed one night.
Staff were very good and accommodating. The location near to the train station was very convenient. And when we had late check out that day, we had a very comfortable wait in the lounge.
We were given a free room upgrade; room well sized, quiet and comfortable. The mountain view from the glass-walled elevator. Excellent restaurant (if one wants a big meal after a day sitting on a train).
Shower, basin and WC all separate rooms but with glass walls - modesty frosting in the really important places but still a bit off putting; and towel rack was in WC!
city centre location, good wifi, good views from window and glass lift
200 TV channels most of them didn't work, got fed up with flicking through to find an English one that worked, so gave up
Good location close to train station and city centre, but also very quiet and relaxing. Comfortable room, friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
+room +breakfast +tradition
-no parking space in hotel garage -some staff were rude
On our outward journey all was good.
booked hotel on return journey and were given an 'upgrade' that was far less satisfactory than the basic package, the staff in the hotel bar on the outward journey were helpful and friendly, but on return the 'barman' was an absolute nightmare. He apppeared to think that we were an obstacle to his enjoyment rather than paying guests. we decided to eat away from hotel rather than to be served by this obnoxious character. His attitude stank more highly than the worst venizian canal. We ate in a restaurant about 100 metres from the hotel, where we felt welcomed and enjoyed a wholesome and reasonably priced meal, with drinks that cost us little more than 60 Euros. The Upgrade was a joke and we had found the first night's room so much more acceptable. Would I s00tay here again? Not very likely without a significant persuader from the management. One member of staff destroyed the ambience and friendliness by his churlish attitude.
Big room, close to train station and to city centre! Great breakfast and friendly stuff!
Quite hot in room and slepping with open windows was impossible becouse of the bars in in front of the Hotel! Room was kind of shabby...furniture looked not very new! For the price i World have expected a little bit more!
The room was very big, with a big bed, 2 sofas, which travelling with a 1,5 year old is important to have a lot of space to walk around when you're at the hotel. Also they provided a crib with no extra charge. The hotel is very close to the Hauptbahnhof and about 5-8 minutes to the city centre, but in a calm location, no noise at night.
WiFi reach is very bad, you need to stay by the door to have a signal. Plus, connection fails all the time, and it didnt work for a whole day. We asked for a breakfast in the room and on the next day the receptionist had no idea what I was talking about, said the hotel did not offer such thing. In the end, breakfast came in the room but the whole confusion is something you don't want when you are looking for a no stress vacation. Overall, the staff was not very well prepared and lack communication. The entrance has 3 steps and no other facility for a wheelchair or a baby stroller to go inside.
The location is very convenient for rail travellers. The breakfast is very good.
The wi-fi had very poor connexion, and we lost the signal very frequently.
only very close to train station n old city n main buss stand for sawaroski. breakfast was fairly good with good veg n non veg options. good they upgraded my room atlest that room looked like room was not so big but was ok.
rooms prety old with trial of making them look good, especially single beds were kept in line as u r sleeping on couch. not a clean place over rated.
Very good restautant
