The hotel was very nice although it was slightly further out of the old town than some other hotels - about a 20min walk. The parking (secure) was €13 which was quite expensive.

The TV only had news in English. The parking was expensive.

Location

The room was very worn, the curtains were badly marked. There was drilling,hammering and banging in the early morning. We weren't told there was refurbishing going on at the time of the booking.

The refurbished rooms and bathroom have been done to a great standard and colour scheme, as expected for a four star establishment. It was amongst the nicest rooms we have stayed in. The breakfast was also excellent with a great selection. The staff helped us out with the Salzburg card and some excursions.

Only a minor point, but very odd. We booked our room almost a year earlier and paid it up front. The invoice had shown that all costs and tourists taxes were included. And this was confirmed when we checked in and also paid for our Salzburg card. However the next day when we checked out the lady at reception asked us for €2.20 for the tourist tax and never gave us a receipt. It was the experience that detracted from what had been the excellence that a four star hotel normally offers.

I'd say that rooms require renovation (some of furniture, bath as is and its equipment). but fairly overall this hotel equals standard one for austrian 4-stars hotels.

Room key didn't work on arrival, but when I went back to reception they had given me the wrong room number. They sorted it quickly but without saying sorry.

Didn't like too many things, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. - parking space was very tight and not enough places, danger to break the car. Still parking was charged 11 EUR/day - hotel was in repair during my stay, and noise from construction were disturbing daily starting with 8am - restaurant food choice very limited - only one, and the food was not good - location is not in city center - breakfast not included in room rate, very expensive - 15 EUR/person - room didn't include bathrobe/slippers as said in reservation confirmation on booking.com - room was too expensive for the value provided

Hotel was clean and within 10 minutes walk of the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff.

Internet connection was free and in good speed

The furniture is outdated. We got problem with the bathroom washing hand sink which the water is not going invusual speed. We reported it and told us they solved but they didn'T.

W-Lan funktionierte nicht am Zimmer und TV war vom Empfang und Funktion sehr schlecht.

L'ampiezza della camera, il bagno rinnovato, la colazione varia, abbondante e di buona qualita'.

Troppo lontano dal centro citta.

Personale molto disponibile e cordiale. Camere enormi! Struttura nuova accogliente e massima pulizia. Vicino dal centro della città ma non da affrontare a piedi, magari in taxi a 7/8€.

Prima colazione molto cara. Parcheggio oneroso ma all'esterno si può lasciare liberamente l'auto in strada.
