Score from 627 reviews Very good
The staff was extremely nice. The breakfast was good. It was quiet at night also.
The sheets had dirt marks on them even though I believe they were washed. There was a dirty bandaid stuck to the carpet also. The wifi did not work either.
Woman in the reception was always stressed, even if there were only two guests waiting for her help.
Breakfast is very poor
Staff Silence Responsiveness Location Breakfast
Little small room
Breakfast...food was good...with excellent service Close to train station
Overpriced...tiny rooms...even smaller bathrooms Costly and inefficient internet service...very annoying Smug and rude front desk staff Left our luggage in hallway for eight hours after checking in
well trained and friendly staff, excellent breakfasts taken on the terrace weather permitting, good sound insulation, good A/C
while some will like the location just 10 minutes walk from the main railway station and all bus-trolley lines, it was at the other end of the city from the Opera festival facilities which were our reason for being in Salzburg
Our second room there was roomier and had a private terrace. Also the breakfasts provided many options, both hot and cold, and was quite tasty.
The first room was cramped and, even worse, was just a few feet from the large hotel sign that stayed lighted all night making it difficult for me to sleep.
Good location very good cleanliness good breakfast helpful staff
No Hungarian TV channel No free wifi
room breakfast friendly
parking in the back of hotel
Great location , nice environment, very good breakfast , separate air conditioning in the rooms.
Boiling water from the shower , which could not be reduced in temperature - mix thermostat did not work
Very helpful staff and excellent location.
Not sure why the hotel is 4 star, very dated decor.
Good hotel overall, easy to get to/fro from all tourist venues.
I didn't appreciate the counter lady charging me for the second day's parking when I didn't use it. Anyway, the cost was quite modest (7 euros) and hence I am making this only as a remark and not as a complaint.
family run hotel -attention to detail. clean, quiet (in back rooms) location - 500m from staion, no 6 bus into inner city or walkable good value, Sound of music channel for those that care Late check out
single beds a little too firm
Comfortable beds and especially the pillows. Excellent breakfast. Good parking facilities although somewhat expensive.
Paying for Internet. Too far away from the city centre.
Staffs are friendly and nice.
It was a nice place to stay, and close to the city center. We loved the breakfast buffet.
The smell from the restaurant was really strong in the hallways as you walked to your room. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and you could smell it all the way up there. They need to ventilate better.
friendly staff, very good breakfast
wifi options and costs were not as good as expected - did not use.
we wanted to get some food from outside the reception said no so it was shocking to us.
The welcome by the staff was the most friendly we have experienced in 3 weeks through Europe. Supermarket close by. Very close to railway station.
City center was a 10 minute walk away. It was a nice walk with good weather but can be a problem in bad weather or for older people. Fridge in room is small, very small. Wifi is not for free but access has to be bought (3 euros per 4 hours and time stops when you log out). Breakfast was a stunning 12 euros per person so we skipped that.
Had booked half board, but kitchen was closed on Friday, offered to let us have a cold meal, which was cheese and meats from breakfast. Next evening said the could provide a meal, but it was over cooked oven chips and very dry pork. We decided not to eat there on the 3rd night. Don't advertise half board if you cannot provide it.
The staff were extremely helpful.
The triple room was very small for 3.
Very good location,5 mins from the station,10 mins from centre of town, nice road with trees and old properties and off the main road.Very comforable room ,well equipped.and air conditioning very welcome
Breakfast a bit chaotic as there are tour groups and every one arrives together
Good mattress, good location
Bathroom was cramped The steps in the hallway make it difficult to haul luggage
