The staff was exceptional. They did everything to anticipate my wants and were joyful in making my stay well. Even though I was traveling solo, there was enough to do and I had a nice balance of activity and rest. I will return. I'm a very picky traveler because I travel so much but I have no complaints. The toilet flush mechanism wasn't working (I forgot to report) and I ran out of Kleenex in my bathroom but these are minor.

1. Beautiful site on the Danube. Central location. 2. Beautiful old, historic building 3. Beautiful terrace 4. Very good restaurant 5. Helpful staff 6. Breakfast included 1. No individual temperature control in the room 2. Small bathroom (only one sink) 3. Difficult parking 4. Wifi did not work in the room, only in the lobby 5. Room decor was "tired"

The Views of the River were amazing! Very romantic setting. The town was so cute- there was a street of shops and a hike to the ruins of a castle. I would suggest one full day here. The restaurant in the hotel was the best meal we had our whole 12 days in Germany. (Still thinking about it 2 weeks later!) The service was extraordinary. The rooms were all unique but well appointed and luxurious. Loved every minute of our stay! It was a little difficult to find the hotel and the entrance and the parking. We arrived at night and didn't know where to go. Better directions would have helped.

Excellent in every way. I never used to give maximum points while rating but in this case this hotel absolutely deserves it. It is a perfect choice if you are looking for a romantic place with full luxury. The building itself is actually a castle, very unique inside and outside. The environment is like a postcard, in the middle of a medival little town, between the river and the mountain with the ruins of a fortress on the top. Our room was spacious, gracefully furnished, and checked regularly during the day. The window faced to the courtyard (partly to the river and the mountain). The inner pool and wellness facilities are perfect for relaxing. The restaurant has a terrace over the Danube, it is simply a joy to have a dinner or the breakfasts there. Staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended.

Die Lage der Terasse des Schloßhotels mit Blick auf die Donau ist wunderschön! Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr zuvorkommend sowie das upgrade des Zimmers ansprechend, jedoch im Bad die Amaturen sind Erneuerungsbedüftig. Die Dame beim Frühstück war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam! Das Service beim Abendessen nachlässig und die Zuständigkeit des Personals wirkte kaotisch und lieblos. Die Wartezeiten sehr lang, als letzte Krönung wurde der Käseteller vom Abzubi auf den Tisch gestellt ohne vorher Teller, Besteck und Brot aufzudecken. Auch der Strahler wurde, wie es kühler wurde, in der Höhe unseres Tisches nicht eingeschaltet.

Das historische Ambiente in Verbindung mit hervorragendem Service lassen den Aufenthalt zu einem erstklassigen Erlebnis werden. Besonders der Wellnessbereich, das Frühstücksbüffet und die Liebe zum Detail (Zimmerservice, Dekoration,...) haben unsere hoch gesteckten Erwartungen übertroffen. Laute Kritik an Kollegen (beim Einchecken) vor Gästen ist sehr unprofessionell und passt überhaupt nicht zum Stil des Hauses!

Spektakuläre Lage, gediegenes Ambiente, grosszügige Zimmer, was die prächtige Fassade aussen verspricht, wird auch im Inneren gehalten. Gastgeber und Personal sind sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und charmant, es wird insgesamt ein sehr guter Service geboten. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet. Ich kann das Hotel Schloss Dürnstein uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werde selbst gerne wiederkommen.
