Hotel Bristol is in the heart of Salzburg, only a few steps from Mirabell Palace and the Festival Houses.
Score from 432 reviews Wonderful
Just 20 minutes from Salzburg, this 4-star superior hotel overlooks scenic Lake Fuschl and a private golf course. It has a large spa area with an indoor pool.
Score from 183 reviews Wonderful
A small, exclusive hotel with personal flair. It consists of 2 buildings, Altstadthotel and the Residenz, located across from each other in a quiet side street of the city’s pedestrian area.
Score from 822 reviews Very good
Overlooking the lake Mondsee, the Seehotel Restaurant Lackner features an exceptionally quiet location, direct access to the lake with first-rate water quality and an award-winning restaurant.
Score from 53 reviews Wonderful
Really nice location, perfectly refurbished buildings and demanding interior design. Elegant atmosphere (except the restaurant), but a little too "German" - everything is “in ordnung”, but I miss the "soul"...
The restaurant. The environment in the restaurant is a little bit boring. The food was eventually OK, but don’t fell well. Nothing special but for this quality the restaurant is overpriced. Maybe except the pastry chef – the sweets are good. The recommendation of the sommelier is a strange for me – too sweet wine for the start, fortified wine (Sherry) in the middle… The various attitudes of the staff are interesting in this price category. Usually the staff and the service were perfect, but sometimes I feel ignored…
Bed cover size and room becomes worm at night
We've came to Saltzburg from Munich for a weakends. The weather was horrible, rain was all day long, but it didn't make a problem to admire this beauty of nature. We've walked with unbrellas and it's gave us incredible memories. We've stayed only 2 days, that's why we didn't get bored. You better look at weather forecasts, catch sunny days and go.
Location , view , the building and the breakfast
Room need to be updated to be 5 stars
Honestly can't find any shortcoming - perhaps the road signs leading to hotel could be improved a bit.
We loved the hotel, the grounds, the staff, the view, and the breakfast! We knew we would be staying about 25 minutes outside of Salzburg, and that worked well for us. The concierge, Norbert, was one of the best I've ever met. It is clear that he is passionate about his town. The pool area was also wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet spa hotel.
The distance from Salzburg might be an issue for some. We ate dinner there our 1st evening and it was nice but not memorable. Leaving was the worst part!
Amazing location. Fanastic service. good facilities
gym was poorly equiped
Place, service, staff, cuisine... everything is perfect!
Location and setting are breathtaking. our two-bedroom suite was nice. nothing special but nice. The grounds are beautiful. The activities near by are wonderful. The food was OK
Most of the staff were untrained / lacked management direction or had any real interest in their job and not up to the standard of a property like this. That has an impact on your experience when you're looking to enjoy a lovely meal or get some assistance at concierge etc. They lost our car! It was eventually located once my husband went down to the garage himself to find it... but then the key were lost.... We were ready to leave by the end of our 5 nights at which point we headed to the Mandarin Oriental in Munich and experienced world class service! I'd suggest friends look at other hotels in the region before you book this one.
Everything! What a fairy tale come true! Hotel view, staff , room , food!! Loved it!! Wow wow no words can say how great it is you just have to be there to know!
Everything from surroundings to the micro details of room components. I was planning to stay for the past 4 years but I did not have the time to break. I am definitely coming back soon as a couple because if the romantic place.
Probably the breakfast buffet should have more selection just similar to the Sheraton next door. Otherwise could not find what I need to mention in this part if the feedback.
This place is an absolute Bliss! Right from when we checked in till we got dropped at the airport, we felt heavenly. The location swept us off our feet. The view from the room is astonishing. The staff are very elegant, professional and insanely customer centric. We want to mention our special thanks to Freedolyn from the front office for his great attitude! Food, facilities, room n everything ive missed is just amazing. I would recommend anyone eyes closed to stay in this property at least for 3 nughts to fully explore. Real value for money!!

-everything was perfect
An ideal place for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings, in a superb secluded hotel, really 5 stars. In summer the hotel is ideal for fishing. Great spacious rooms with a romantic lake view. Gorgeous outdoor terrace in restaurant, with spectacular views of the lake Fuschl. Very friendly staff.
Great design, landscaping, decoration, b'fast, bed linens
Bad + pillow quality low. Towels oldish and greyish.
From the minute you walk in to the minute you leave this is an exceptional facility. It was my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary and there was nothing they did not do to help make this a memorable occasion. The concierge was exceptional with knowledge of the resort and surrounding areas. The staff in the bar and dining were polite, courteous and accommodating. Thank you to everyone at schloss fuschl for making our stay unforgettable.
The welcoming champagne was a nice treat and set the tone from the beginning. The facilities where immaculate and the staff were accomodating. The spa is quiet and cozy. The grounds are just perfect to relax for a walk or a run. The food....well the food is absolutey outstanding from the breakfast buffet to the dinner specials and the wine. The staff are there but not there......a special thanks to all of them for making our stay memorable. We look forward to returning.
It was dissapointing to have received a charge on our dinner bill for the Amuse-bouches. Typically this is chef's way of welcoming your pallet to the dinner and it is gratus. But the charge was dissapointing. As for water, again whether it was still or sparking it was dissapointing to see a charge for 9 euros when the same bottle of water in your room is free.
Wonderful hotel, clean and spacious rooms, excellent breakfast. Simply great!
