Fabuloso entorno, te quedarias a vivir allí. Tranquilo, rodeado de campas y bosquecillos, y relativamente cerca de Salzburgo teniendo coche eso si. La distancia con la parada de autobus (dos lineas) tampoco es excesiva aunque por la pendiente y el bosque conviene tener un coche.

La cena en el restaurante, uno espera algo más suculento, algo más de carne y menos pescado estando en Austria. La trucha más pequeña que me he comido en mi vida. Pero no pasa de una anecdota.

El desayuno está bien.

La limpieza del hotel deja mucho que desear. Está sucio y huele mal. La ubiccación tiene buenas vistas según la habitación que te toque pero hasta llegar al hotel tienes que subir una subida muy pronunciada. El hotel informa que tiene minibar en las habitaciones pero de lo que se trata es de una nevera comunitaria para todas las habitaciones.

Su situación, sus vistas, la amplitud de la habitación, el buffet del desayuno.

Que no tenga ascensor. A pesar de ser un edificio de construcción antigua creo que se puede poner un pequeño ascensor, al menos para los equipajes. No resulta en absoluto agradable tener que subir uno o dos pisos cargados con pesadas maletas, y no digamos si el cliente es ya mayor y tiene dificultades para subir escaleras.

Beautiful view from the terrace and from some of the rooms. Very helpful staff.

There are sauna/jacuzzi also in the hotel, but they can be used just through booking and if someone already taken it than you can not go. It closes at 9pm.

Excellent location, very nice view of Salzburg. We enjoyed the bar as well as the sauna, which is free and can be given to one room.

Its a very friendly hotel and the staff were extremely good and they are more than happy to help us .

Inspite of the reviews saying that if you don't have a car its difficult we went on without a car , You need taxis for sure to get out of this hotel and they cost € 10 to the city center which is OK .you can come down the hill to catch a bus but if you would like to walk you can do this and the bus charge €2 to the city center . 2) Food is very expensive

The view. Peace and quiet. As we were in a group it was cheap to taxi down into the city and return in the evening (from 8-10.50 euro) . Good no frills hotel with wonderful view.

The dated furniture and the single beds pushed together to make one. Uncomfortable pillow. The water temperature in the shower kept changing too (although it was a good shower). The breakfast service was quite poor as the food and drinks were not replenished, which meant there was little choice of food and if there was any coffee in the pot it was luke warm. And who likes uncooked eggs?!
