Cityhotel Schwarzer Bär Innsbruck  

The price was excellent and for 8euro we had a fabulous breakfast. the hosts were very friendly and helpful. he room was clean and quiet and the hotel location was superb for us who arrived by train. A 5 minute taxi ride and we were there and an easy walk across the river bridge and we were in the old city market area. We did some great shopping in Innsbruck also.

One of the advantages of being on the 'wrong' side of the river (yet on the riverside and very close to the main bridge across to the old town) is that you have much better views of the town than people who are staying in the old quarter itself. The view from our room was one of the best in Innsbruck and yet its price was modest.

The hotel was very relaxed with good staff and a comfortable room. We were lucky enough to have a river facing room with enclosed 'balcony'. Although the traffic was quite busy it did not disturb us. The airport is only just outside Innsbruck and quite a few planes fly right over the hotel and city itself but it was not a problem. The hotel is situated in an excellent position just across the bridge from the old town.

The only thing that needed improving in the room we had (18) was the shower, although plenty of hot water the shower head had to be hand held.

Convenient for old town and sightseeing. Good continental breakfast. Friendly, family owned small hotel/guest house.

No lift, elderly or wheelchairs may struggle.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. I liked our room. The location was perfect! Couldn't have picked a better, (and quaint) hotel!)

good breakfast but have to book the previous night, no parking, garage is a 5 min walk which can be eerie if late into the night, no elevator, slightly overpriced considering breakfast is extra and so is the parking.

Great position overlooking the river, character hotel.

Localizacao excelente a alguns passos dos pontos turisticos. Estacionamento a 8 euros proximo ao hotel. Vista dos quartos da frente para o rio que corta a cidade muito bonita. Funiconarios atenciosos.

Subir escadas com a mala. O estacionamento fica longe se vc estiver carregando as malas.
